COMPUTER QUESTION AND PROBLEM-HELP!!!

Hi-I downloaded a cute avatar from a message on the hungangels site.It was a cute girl/guy mini movie type thing.The number was 25.gif.It downloaded to my decktop and I soon deleted it.Now the pesky thing keeps coming back into my downloads...I keep seeing it and deleting it.Please tell me if this is a problem(ie virus or worm) and what I can do to get rid of it-thanks

Sounds like a virus. I would get an anti-virus program and try to get rid of it.
AVG (at http://free.grisoft.com) is a good free program. If that doesn't work, back up your files and format your hard drive.
