I have a Motorola Razr. Works fine, so I have no need for a new one, even though the phone company keeps trying to push one on me.

Here's a funny story: I check my mail today, and there are two letters from Sprint. The first one is informing me that my payment is late (I sent it a few days ago, but missed the due date), and the second letter is informing me that since I'm such a valued customer, I get some sort of service upgrade. I'm not sure about the details, because I threw the letter away. It's a phone, it works fine as it is, I don't need an upgrade. I just found that very ironic.

Not long ago I was over three months late, and they called me.

Sprint: "Your payment is way past due, you need to make a payment immediately via credit card."

Me: "Why the hell would I do that? I'll send ya a check."

Sprint: "Sir, this needs to be taken care of today!"

Me: "Not really. I mean, what would you do?"

Sprint: "Your service could be disconnected.'

Me: "Then I could get service with a new company, and they would give me all sorts of incentives to do that."

Sprint: "You would be billed for breach of your service contract!"

Me: "But, if you're not providing me phone service any more, why would I pay you anything?"

Sprint: "You could be taken to court."

Me: "OK, do that. The checks in the mail. Bye."

My service was not disconnected. Phone companies are crazy. Beyond getting a Satphone, I can't imagine any reason for me upgrading at this point. I do think the Iphone has potential. I'm just not sure why at the moment.

Ok, are you ready for this? Giggle.

I carry an iPhone and a Razor and have a total of 5 cell lines, one of which is a data line for my laptop. I also have 3 800 numbers. My phone bill is like $300 a month.

Sheesh!

We use our phones like radios. Especially now that my real estate development business is getting off the ground. I guess I'm what they call a "road warrior" now. My "office" is wherever I am at the moment and the connectivity of the iPhone is a definite help.

I just got the iPhone a month ago, and other than I can't hear the damn thing ring and the battery barely makes it through the day, it's great.

I like the Internet connection. Besides posting here... I can actually use it to look up phone numbers, supply sources, etc. If you are lost you hit a button and it shows you were you are. The e-mail "push" feature is great. I can keep tabs on my portfolio and watch the dollar collapse by the hour.

But best of all for the So Cal area is it allows you to call up the traffic grid, and provides better info than you can get from the Garmin and in places where the Garmin doesn't get a signal.

But I still love my cute little pink Razor!

Giggles,
TS Jamie :-)

Hi Julianav - welcome to HA -

A suggestion, never, ever hit the post button more than once. Unless you wait at least 5 mintues, close the window and reopen it and double check that it didn't post and just hang on your screen. Sometimes things are slow.

Otherwise you have to have sex for free with everyone on the thread...

Giggle,
TS Jamie :-)

I'm not a phone snob even though some of the phones posted look really nice. I have this 3/4 year old cheap Nokia. I got it after 3 expensive phones with all the bells and whistles, cam etc broke down over a period of like 6 months. I love my old phone so much I bought 3 of the old Nokias. Its battered and been dropped so many times but its small, with a long battery life and never quits. I love it :)

I have the Voyager from Verizon. I just got it and if you are considering getting it you should. However the mobiletv is way to tempting sometimes.

Actually the Voyager from lg is the best phone out there. the battery life is the best and the call
Quality is great better then iphone. I haven had a single problem with it yet. Beside people wanting to play with it and touch it.

I have some basic flip out LG model from Verizon which I got about two years ago (I think my contract is about up,btw). Before that, I had some cell plan which was month to month (I try to avoid contracts), but the damn thing would seemingly lose its signal one out of three calls regardless of where I was. It was terrible. My Verizon has NEVER cut off. Never. If I ever did need to upgrade, it would probably be an IPhone. Why mess with an imitator? Apple's innovative minds and its reputation for ease of use precedes it.

... Why do some of you need so many bells and whistles? Do you really utilize all that stuff to justify the cost? It's suppose to just be a PHONE fer Pete's sake. I read of one feature in here that I don't have and wouldn't mind having on my phone, but for the most part, the capability to contact someone is all I need for the $50.00 a month that I pay -- yes that includes insurance in case I drop it in the toilet trough of a bar someday. :)

I have a Centro, which is a smaller, harder to read and use Treo :) If I wasn't married to Sprint for the next 2 years I would have an Iphone. My Ipod Touch will have to do until then.

I don't have a personal cell phone because I don't use the phone much. I do have one through my job for work calls, it's a pretty old Samsung phone, a SCH-3500.

Seems like a popular phone, at least on that Prison Break show.

I have the iPhone with AT& T and the Motorola E815 with Verizon. Had the E815 first. Picked up the iPhone in
Dec. I love the UI of the iPhone, but the call quality is horrible for where I work. I get NO RECEPTION in the building where I work. In that building only the CDMA based Verizon phone works. The GMA based iPhone gets no reception.

The Blackberry Curve is coming to Verizon in June [ish]. I will check it out to see if it works for me as well as it does for Natassia Dreams.

If it does, goodbye iPhone. I compare the iPhone to a good looking girl who gives horrible head.
