as a person who grew up knowing many muslim families and friends i find this thread a bit interesting.as a kid i had friends i would play with and go over to there apartments to have iranian or saudi arabian style lunches..everybody was really nice and courteous,and we ate sitting on the family rug in the living room,wahing down our food with some nice tea..most of these families had a head of household who was a professional or business person in training..never did some crazy rhetoric come my way or fanaticism...these people where in our country tryin to do what they had to do...one woman who was former miss tehran became a good family friend and an accomplished scientist,one became a doctor,and one would lead the lockerbie plane bombing over scotland...so you never can tell with people???but isnt it so with everybody...just look at these mermons out in texas right now or the catholic priest scandal-an dont fergit yer history of the church and colonizin the planet in the name of???this is a bit of a moment right now for a people in the midst of a reformation type of crisis in the modern world....
