As for facts, it is fact that the US occupation of Iraq was a sham from the start, with the guise of WMD used to rally support. While it is most likely true that at least one wealthy middle eastern country does in fact support terrorism we have not nor will we likely ever come to conflict with them. Iraq was not and is not about protecting the US from evil it is about securing US strength in the region via oil and a permanent base of future opperations. If you knew anything about Saddam you would have known that whilei it is true he was a despotic individual who terrorized his own population he was also secular, and therefore more concerned with oil revenue than relgious fundamentalism and therefore posed little to no threat to the US.
