DEKALB, Ill. (Feb. 14) - DeKalb Police say a gunman who opened fired at Northern Illinois University is dead. Authorities say the gunman started shooting in a lecture hall on Thursday, injuring as many as 15 people as students frantically scrambled over desks for cover.

Even our local store keeper was packing today. I knew he owned one, but never saw it on the belt before. Though I must admit that V.D. (Valentine's Day) of 1998 had me at the range with four pistols and dropping a lot of brass on paper people.
