Cloverfield?

Who saw Cloverfield this weekend. Highlight was jerking my guy off during the film. I like butter on my popcorn.... Hmmmm.

I thought it was terrible otherwise. Anyways, my opinion. Hope you all had a great weekend.

Can we get some perspective of some sort? I have this unpleasant idea of the movie as a product of Abrams walking into an exec's office and saying "It's The Host meets The Blair Witch Project! It can't miss!"

Ignoring the shaky-cam aspect (I liked that about Blair Witch)-- how is it as a scary movie?

Thats a spot on analogy,although nowhere as anti climactic as BWP and nowhere near as queso as The Host...

Its a pretty good movie,some suspense but not scary unless you can totally immerse yourself into the plot,which isnt too hard with the Youtube-like cinematography.
