I was gonna go see it tonight, but I drove down to the theater and the shit was packed............

I'll do the matinee in the morning, suffer through the senior citizens and the group home mental patient group that always shows up opening day.

In the words of Neil Cumpston - this films full title is actually the Cloverfeld Monster Goes Apeshit. Truthfully it's hardly about the monster at all, it's all about how the people cope with the chaos and its made for like 25mil US which is small for a movie with this ambitious. It's a matter of taste but I thought it kicked ass.

Well, anybody here seen it yet? IMDB has 189 user reviews posted already, I read the first page and none of those people seemed to hate it.

I'll probably go see an early show on Monday, I guess you really need to get a seat near the back of the theater or motion sickness sets in. Running time around 80 minutes, I like that, too.
