Is that were he is. I was wondering what happened to him. I thought he was HAWT!

Where he is now is this legit or staged like WWE?

Kira,

UFC is as brutal and real as it gets....pretty much has suplanted boxing in the states.

Go to Youtube and do a UFC search and see for yourself...its badass.

Brock never fought in pride it was some k-1 event and that korean guy was a terrible fighter with a terrible record. In the ufc you have to be an all around fighter meaning you have to have good ground and stand up skills and i have seen neither from brock in that k-1 match. In his ufc match is fighting a former ufc heavyweight champion in frank mir and he is gonna have a tough time dealing with him.The only thing he showed me in that k-1 match is that he is really strong and strength alone won't cut it in the ufc.

I reckon Mir's Stand up and submission skills will be too much, too Soon.

Frank Mir in 2.

Brock Lesnar was a Big-10 and NCAA Division 1 wrestling champion...so he has the background for at least a respectable ground game.Surely not another WWE creampuff.

I see it lasting the first round mir winning by either submission via kimora or RNC(rear naked choke).

That type of wrestling doesn't equivalent to having a good ground game in the ufc maybe back when guys like ken shamrock and dan severn were big names but when your talking about having a good ground game these days you have to know some form of jujutsu.

Lesnar's a beast but he looked green as Hell in that K-1 bout. As far as his wrestling goes; it's one thing to get someone on the ground, it's another thing to make him submit. He is really risking being embarassed. If not by Mir, by someone else for sure.

Is he still banging Sable?

Im not oblivious to the Brasilian influence in the UFC....in fact Eddie Bravo used to practice his Jiu-Jitsu on me back when we used to work together, way back before he submitted the Gracie w/ The Twister....
My point regarding Lesnars background is that he isnt simply a roided actor...he has skills...whether or not its enough to beat Mir ,I dunno, but dont dismiss wrestling background entirely.

You know I always sorta understood what he was saying in his interviews for WWF. Did it make sense outside of the ring, NO, but that was his gimmick, he was this spiritual warrior fighting for who knows what. Spirts maybe.

The thing is this guy is very articulate and I can see how he came up with all that Gibberish for his act

But he is the Ultimate Asshole now

The Ultimate Roidhead was the most pathetic excuse for a wrestler ever! The guy couldnt do a good promo(Like Jake Roberts...the master of a great promo...and he was high!)Dude couldnt wrestle...in fact his only move was a lame running flying arm...

Another WWE wrestler HHH,called him the worst and most unprofessional wrestler he ever faced.

I just saw HHH Vs Warrior on Youtube. It was HHH first match I think and he was small compared to now. It was over fast.

Mir submitted lesnar in the first round by ankle lock.Like i said brock needs to learn some basic brazilian jujutsu skill if he wants to contend in the ufc.

Sw the match.Lesnar came out on fire,I think his adrenalin was in overdrive as beat the hell out of Mir and allowed himsaelf to be submitted.
Hopefully he will learn from his mistakes and be more cautious next match.

Yeah he came out on fire like you said and bloody mir but he made a rookie mistake and left his ankle wide open for a submission,i kinda think he first opponent shouldn't have been a bjj expert and former champ.

hindsjight is 20/20 ...Obviously he was outclasses by a superior technician.
Lesnar said prior to the fight that he didnt want to come in and fight low billers,as peeps would say even though he may have beaten lesser opponets that it proved zero....and I agree.

Word around the net now is theres talk of a UFC match betwwen Lesnar and Kurt Angle....hmmmmm

I have read on another forum that some believe that Mir was close to being finished before the ref stopped the action due to the hit to the back of the head.

i disagree mir was defending as he said in his postfight interviews and he seemed composed.

i was impressed by lesnar, although he looked green and a bit nervous. there was a lot of pressure on him and he was outmatched by mir. if he learns some submission defence and gets some standup skills he'll be a big problem for anyone in the weightclass.

the ufc must like all the fans he is bringing over from the wwe

well there is no doubt Lesnar got screwed by the ref...no way 2 blows constitute a stoppage/point deduction.
Earlier in the bill another guy was unloading about 15 head blows and he was never penalized nor forced to stand up....warned twice, but nothing more..so yeah he def got fucked.

Brock will be fine as he gets more experience. Mir was a tough 1st UFC guy to fight and if not for that one mistake where he gave up his leg, the outcome may have been different. Mir took some nasty blows that would have KO'ed over half of the other UFC guys in that weight class. He just needs some more fights under his belt and he will be a contender for the title.
