She was shot in the neck and chest by the attacker, who then blew himself up, said Rehman Malik, Bhutto's security adviser. ......... She´s been their prime minister twice and she was corrupt. She was rich and should retire from politics but no, she wants POWER again. This is really sad news but over 100 people died because of her from the first assasin when she returned to Pakistan. Her decision to go on with the campaign was stupid and irresponsible because she should have known about this, she has two kids and people were dying. You need an army to fight these sickos there and in my opinion, it´s hopeless.

Do you even realize how many Iraqi civilians have died because of G.W. Bush's infatuation with power?

this convo is going on in 2 forums, only lighter in this forum so I'll reply here to liven it up...........

She might have been corrupt, some neighbors of mine down the block are from the area she ran and they seemed un-bothered by her assassination.

AND

It is my opinion that she KNEW she was going to be killed asap. I honestly believe that she stuck her head out of that sunroof to say "fuck you, come and get me" and go out a martyr. I could be wrong, but that's my opinion.

She made herself a key to open the door to what some of you have already stated could be the beginning of another war, world war? highly unlikely, but more forces in the section from our own govt. very likely.

why don't you learn to speak english first? And the only savage here looks to be you.

Since A killed B and both were muslims
We (C) ought to kill all A's and B's everywhere to save our civilized way of life. Your pathetic. Last I checked you tried that in Iraq and now the rest of the world hates the USA and we're worse off than we ever were.

India can't nuke Pakistan. Due to the weather patterns they would receive the fallout.

Ltr-
Calm down. You can drop nukes hither and fro, but not really accomplish anything, except put yourself in the same boat as your targets...someone who is willing to sacrifice innocents for your cause.

There are other ways to deal with this problem....you just don't talk about it. It just happens. The world doesn't know. But those involved do.

It happens. And it slows the opposition down....real fast.

Read a book called "The Triad", it will give you a better understanding as to whom is really runnin' the show.

every body knows in Pakistan, the secret service of Musharaf (good friend of Mr Bush) tried to kill her since she back to her country,

and in top of that you want to kill civillians muslim !!

what american people seem to forget or may be they never knew , the first victims of integrism all around the world are muslims

First off, she had 3 kids, not 2. And while she MAY have been corrupt while she was in power, at least she wouldn't have brought a military regime with her, which Musharraf did. IMO he was behind the whole deal. He allowed her back in the country and 'supported' her and the democratic elections, but everyone knows he always opposed her (he did murder her father) and made a statement that while he will allow elections, anyone who runs against him will most likely be assassinated like Bhutto.

Before this happened I was telling anyone who would listen that Benazir would be good for world peace. She wanted to focus on making the lives of everyday people better. That something they need instead of focusing on resentment of the US. A woman in power is would have been a beacon of hope for many people.

Anyway, I thought one corruption scandel had to do with her husband and his relatives. She accpeted him through a traditional arranged marriage. She gave birth to a child on the the eve of election and was able to take power and govern. That really rocks! Anyway her rally was in the town that headquarters the army. We need understanding to fight the sickness. As I wrote in a song; "A bomb won't change a word of the Koran..." That is a lesson all sides need to understand.

this must have been going on in the general discussion. You should look at the other thread. "Bhutto slain". In it I have posted a picture of her last millisecond. It looks to me that the bomb killed her she was still standing when it exploded. ( Just now I heard a media report from the Pakistani govt. whic confirms my observation.)

We have to remember that under her governance the Taliban were created by the I. S. I. She has as recently as earlier this year praised them. the cold fact is that if the current Pak. Gov. did this... then our government was also involved.

It is also noteworthy that the other alternative to Prez.Musharif Nawaz Sharif strengthened the sharia bench. Gave more power to the Islamic courts...where before thy were mostly symbolic.

What we have engineered is a chance for Musharif to by blameing then taking revenge on Al Quaeda.. make himself more popular.

I personally think it most likely that al quaeda targeted her.

Haven't read the book, don't know who controls what anymore. But if you revert to the basics, similar to what your talking about, things on the opposition slow down and become less organized due to fear of the unknown.

If your background is what you say, you know what I'm talking about.

Benazir, I'll shed a tear for your death at the hands of a bomber

You cover several grid squares now and its safe to say you're a goner

I cant express my anger and disgust at the horrible loathsome toad

Who blew you to bits, and vapourised your Tits and shot your flip flops over the road.

I'll raise a glass to remember your face, i saw it once on the telly

But now your toast, and a brand new ghost and your Sari is shredded and smelly.

Im outraged and mad, and a little bit sad, despite us never meeting

Still one bandwagons as good as another one, so bring on the wailing and weeping

RIP
