damn it Willie....you beat me to it. Nice job!!! I see there are those that continue to appreciate the car out of jealousy and insults. The fact remains, although thay all have or appreciate some very nice machinery .... those cars will never realize the history, love and appreciation the Corvette garners. How many of the have their own National Museum?

Ive been driving a Z06 for the last couple of weeks, what a bloody fast car that is!!!

I'll admit its not the last word in build quality or handling, infact compared to the european competition its not up to much, but then again you would have to spend double the cost of a corvette to get anything nearly as fast from europe.

It is a much better car than the Viper, that is a dreadful car, unbelivably vulgar!

Im Back in dreary scotland for the family xmas, its amazing how quickly i remembered why i left!

Anyway when i get back to work, ill have my new Jaguar XF saloon! See, selling cars does have its perks!! HA!!

I drove my 2000 Vette for a couple years, and while I enjoyed cruisng down PCH w/ the top off,the Vette was a technical nightmare! Had that thing back @Thorson Cheverolet every 3 months,so they could fix this,or adjust that,or replace this or reset that...pain in the ass!

While im sure the new Vette will be a blast to drive for a weekend im not sure ownership would be as much fun.

Yeah, yeah, to any real Mustang aficionado, it isn't anywhere near as desirable as an original late '60s model, but I'd hit it.

This -- this -- is more my speed: :)

Hit their website ... it's on their pictures. I like the concept of it all too, and I'm a Ford dog.

... The only thing about that particular car that doesn't work for me are the rims. It's the classic brown shoes with a tuxedo imo. I think the mid '60s vette "turbo" type rims would have worked a lot better.

That is a very Kool custom, Realgirls4me...where exactly did you encounter that machine?

DJ_Asia....I can appreciate the problems you had with your Vette. I presently have the 2nd, 5th and 9th Vettes I've owned. They are all maintenance whores, as is ANY High Performance vehicle,,,I don't care who makes it. But, I would rather own a Vette that sits in the garage, needs a paint job and, doesn't run,,,than not have one at all. The nameplate has been around for 55 years...what other specific "nameplate" can say that, and boast they're own Museum, world-wide car club membership, lifestyle, comradery, etc.?

The Z06 is a supercar-beater, at half the price...and gets 25 mpg to boot! Chevrolet does it again :-)

people made that as a joke once suzuki said they were re-making the hayabusa... it came out to be a nice bike (cept for the rear end) that runs high 9's out the box

love the styling of the vette..specially old school stingrays with blowers cut thru the hood...but if u want speed.........

Ahh, right.

I thought it was one of those 'off road' hovercraft type things :!:

Yeah, the Hayabusa is a nice bike, a bit too bulky for my liking though.

Prolly because the originals were deathtraps on wheels!

does the ZR1 just have more power than the Z06 ? I would rather have the Z06 I think it looks better. Of course I would rather have my WRX STi.

It's not a prototype (although I like how you're thinking). Like I said, their website is on each of the pictures I posted as well as on the license plate.

Here:

http://www.n2amotors.com/

I have some reservations about many of the custom car body builders trying to create their own little market niche, as most of their products come off looking a bit poorly conceived, if not poorly executed, but I like how this model came out.

Ha-ha! So true. A friend of mine owned one in high school. I'll never forget the time we crammed one up with six guys and went to a basketball game in it across town. With normal road conditions at play and nowhere near speeding, he lost control of it on a ramp to another freeway and we ended up spinning around. It was simply inexplicable.

Ralph was right! :)

There are actually two drive belts. The one one the right back is a little smaller in width.

Actually they werent very reliable @ drifting either...

One of the primary flaws w/ the Corvair was the slightly irratating habit of the Corvairs wheels buckling under the frame due to piss poor engineering.

Bangkok's traffic is stuff of legends...like the coup attempt prior to the one in 2006 for instance was defeated because the tanks got stuck in traffic! That being said rarely here do we ever achieve the speed necessary for "The Drift"...however call me old fashioned but im of the Vin Diesel mold where getting from point A to point B as fast as possible and in a straight line is my preferred method of exhibiting motor dominance.
