When it comes to number of sexual experiences/partners or not really?

Like the old saying goes.."Experience is a good teacher".

1. How does one get to be so damn good in bed?

2. Do you like (prefer) an experienced lover or a beginner (to teach the ropes with so to speak)? LOL ;)

Practice does make perfect but one has to have the right state of mind and understand what excites your partner and you. Sex is more about giving and not just receiving ... both literally and figuratively. There definitely is a physical aspect to being a good lover but you cannot be a good lover without the mental part.

For me, there is nothing more sensual sexy and exciting than looking into the eyes of your partner and seeing the passion and the pleasure.

Sex is 90% mental and the other half is physical.
What do you think HJ?

I agree. However, I don't think sex is 90% mental and only 10% physical tho. I feel that in order to really achieve exhilarating sexual gratification it must be 60% physical and 40% mental, No? I could be wrong though. :P LOL

Yep, but I didn't say the physical part was only 10%.

LOL Yes but in a 100% when you said 90% mental that only leaves 10% for the physical silly! LOL  ;)

1) just like in anything in life, some people are born better at the horizontal (or even vertical O.O ) mambo, but practicin the right habits and techniques can turn the worst fucker into a porn star. Just dont know how one would go about doin those things by yourself.
2) i prefer someone with a little experience, but not someone whos been passed like a blunt. i dun want to teach ehr EVERYTHING, but i dont mind teachin her what works for me.

my 1st girlfriend told me I wasn't a virgin after I got down plowing her field........ I left that pussy deep enough to plant anything from a redwood tree to watermelon seeds, take your pick

I thank porn flicks, back when I was a virgin I had Ray Victory, Rocco Siffriedi, John Holmes, among others to educate me on how to fuck like a beast instead of fucking like a lil bitch.

OK for the one that said 10% physical, I guarantee sex wouldn't be like it is if it weren't for the orgasm at the end of it. In fact it'd probably only be done to reproduce in that matter.

A couple of thoughts on this thought provoking question:
1. Practice will never make perfect..hopefully better
2. Practice should be fun especially when it comes to sex......piano..not so much
3. Lovemaking skills are not always transferable, .....asking, listening and remembering are important when applying what you practice
4. Whoever said you cannot teach an old dog new tricks...... was probably a monk
4. When you stop learning....you're probably dead

practice does not make perfect; practice makes permanent. practicing it wrong is just a bad idea.

when it comes to sex, do with feeling or not at all.

okay, that's it for now, i ran out of cliches.

I think al different people have different things that ring thier bell. So you can have all the experience in the world, but when you are with a new partner......all that might mean nothing.

I think the best thing is to talk and communicate and try not to pressure yourself to be the PERFECT LOVER. If you both talk and get comfortable with your needs then i think you can relax and really focus on pleasuring eachother. Then the practice with that lover can do wonders.

on the other hand...........if it is a one night thing............

have a 5 minute power meeting and then fuck like wild animals.

Good question Hara.

Heh are you a musician too?

Practise does not make perfect. You can't be perfect, there's always room for improvement. But a good teacher and experience really help.

I was lucky to have a great teacher and I have built on the foundation she laid (pun).
