The Steelers where fine until after Halftime. Then the defense fell all to hell. Grrrrrr. Now they have to stay on their toes and win the rest of their games to keep the Browns from taking the division. I hate having to say those words.
My only consolation is that I have Randy Moss on my fantasy team so he racked up lots of points.

Hey, I'm REALLY hoping that Joey Porter can fire up the Dolphins and at that point the 14-0 Pats go down to the 0-14 'Fins. Doubt it will happen but it would be poetic justice for Don Shula & the '72 'Fins.

Sure. No question about it. Only problem is I think the Jets will do it first.
I'm amazed at everyone looking to see the Pat's go down. I wonder if there were the same senitiments when the Steeler or the 49'ers were in they're glory days.
Of all the posters to this thread, if you had the opportunity to trade your entire organizaton - players, coaches, owners straight up with the Pat's right now after 13 games, would you do it?
We got linebackers who play as receivers, running backs and blocking backs. We have a receiver who's played for the Pat's as a defensive back and a quarterback. We have a receiver who is the back up place kicker.
Next game the Jets. This week that all there is.
Regarding spygate? Get a life.

OK, so the cool thing now is to be a Pats hater?
If you have a problem with 'spygate'-which I don't-I can understand that...but for the rest of you, you are just jealous! A class team, top to bottom, no ridiculous boasting and braying-together they play the ultimate team game better than perhaps any team in the last 30 years.Get over it.

Get use to it. The Pat's are a machine. Going undefeated this season means nothing. It only strips that Miami team of the only thing they got. If they go undefeated, then they will feel compelled (or have to come up with a good excuse) when they have to get together year after year when a team makes a run at their record and fails. So they can pop the cork on champagne, which none of them drinks and retell the same stupid stories of their glory days.
No, the Pat's want five Super Bowls. Four this year and five as soon as possible there after. Then, they will have surpassed SF (Montana and crew) and Pittsburgh (Bradshaw and crew). This is the measure of a great organization. Not one season without a loss. (They won 21 straight games at one time over 2 seasons -no one gives a shit).
Right now the two greatest teams of all time are the Montana 49'ers and the Bradshaw Steelers. If the Pat's win this year, they join the club. If they win another within two or three years - they are the greatest. :D

Ok ezed let's set the record straight..... oh, and thanks for acknowledging the Steelers and the 49s as the greatest of all time. Ahhhh Joe Montana, another fine Pgh native, along with Marino and Namath.
The Steelers are the oldest and most championed franchise in the AFC. They are the only team in NFL history to win four Super Bowls in six years, as well as the first to win more than two.
The team has appeared in six Super Bowls and, along with the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys, is one of three teams to have won the Super Bowl five times. They have appeared in 13 Conference Championship Games and have hosted more conference championship games than any other NFL franchise. They are the only team in NFL playoff history to win a Super Bowl after being seeded sixth in the playoffs, winning three consecutive games on the road followed by a Super Bowl XL victory in Detroit on February 5, 2006 against the Seattle Seahawks. They are also the only sixth-seeded team in NFL history to advance to a conference championship game as well as win one.
Sorry boys............. NE won't be "equal" to The Steelers. You guys will be a close 2nd to my boys, but only in having as many SB victories.
We are the ONLY NFL franchise to win 4 SBs in 6 years!! :D :D
IF NE wins this year & next they will match the Steelers, I for one don't see it happening. Teams will without a doubt have figured out NE by next season. They will still be "elite", but they won't be the run away train that they are this year.
No hatin'........... just common sense & Steelers pride.

Jesus, you're a regular encyclopedia of football! My hat's off to you.
They'll still say we're the greatest if we win the next two, because it will be five with the same core team, not five in franchise history.
Greatest franchise would probably have to be Green Bay including pre-Super Bowls. Could you check that for me?

When a player holds, grabs a face mask, interfers: is he cheating? They give his team a penalty! So they must be cheating.
The Pats filmed a bunch of fat fucks coaches doing their version of Riverdance. Instead of 15 yards they got 750K plus a draft choice.

Paxton Crawford and Manny Alexander? Big deal. I'm not saying that there haven't been sox players that have done steroids. Every team in the majors has had players on juice at one point.
Donnelly barely played this past season before being hurt and Gagne did nothing but hurt the sox during his appearances.
A few no names in the past and a few non-factors are a completely different story than your two major contributors to championships.
Your a typical Yankee fan living in the past by bringing up the 26 rings now that your team has become inferior and the tides are turning in the AL east.
I just hope that you're not a native Bostonian because there is nothing more pathetic than a traitor that feels the need to jump on the NY bandwagon.

Proof that Clemens cheated? You have none. And in case you forgot, he played for you as well. Of course, you blew his best years and managed to lose to the Mets anyway. It gets by Buckner!!
I love it how Red Sox fans are always quick to play the "living in the past" card because history for you guys started in 2004 apparently. Going by your logic then, how can we be inferior if the new season hasn't started yet and both teams are 0-0?
Dumbass.
I need to stop debating with Red Sox fans, because every time I do I just give your franchise validity which it doesn't deserve. The "rivalry" has just been a media staged myth; only in the last couple of years have you done better. Prior to that you were our bitches for nearly one century.
I'm not a Bostonian. At least I hope not. Perhaps I should call my parents and make sure that I was in fact NOT born in the new England area. Otherwise I'm going to spend the rest of the day trying to find the tallest building to jump out of.
KO47,
You're right. The Yanks have dominated Boston for years. Same way as the Canadiens have dominated the Bruins.
The Sox's sold their soul when they sold Babe Ruth. The Yankees sold their soul when they signed A-Rod. Now you resigned him...long term for a home run race with Barry Bonds.
I think we'll be catching up...slow but sure. The quality players (and former coach) won't be happy playing second fiddle, when they are more valuable in the clutch..in meaningful games i.e. Jeter for one. I love Jeter's work ethic and Posada, and the japanese guy. But your management continually shits on them. For A-Rod and Clemens (that was a good pick-up last year, how did that go over with the rotation).
The Pat's are a quality franchise, and will do well saturday nite. Enjoy...put your money on the Pats and you will be a happy guy sunday morning!

I'm with you there. I was probably one of the few who hated the A-Rod acquisition from day one and still hate it today. Like you said, Jeter is our capo and will be so long as he is a Yankee. You don't bring in a guy who backstabbed his friend(like A-Rod did to Jeter) then expect everything to be vanilla.
A-Rod better start playing in the playoffs or he'll go down as the Dan Marino of baseball. He's like the exact opposite of Manny. As much as Manny gets shit on by media for slacking in the regular season, the guy always comes thru when it matters the most. If it was one Red Sox I wish we got it would be Manny. Yet, I always hear the Boston media linking him to various trades. Year after year.
I really really believe that if it wasn't for that Union ruling that rejected A-Rod to the Sox, you guys probably don't win the WS with A-Rod on your roster.
