I've been thinking of getting it cut off. I go back & forth about it.
What do you all think? Should I get it cut off?

Do what you want to do. However, I expect only 0.02% of the peeps here are qualified to give any advice, so it's kind of pointless asking here, unless its a wind-up... :)

Don't let anyone on a porn forum influence your decision. If it's what you want and it will make you happier then go for it. I prefer post-ops but it's completely your choice.

flip a coin in the hair and call it.
I'll assume that the thread and this poll are merely for entertainment purposes.
Obviously, I'm not going to only go by what people here say. It will be my own decision.
However, I am curious as to what others think about it.

You sound more than a bit torn, True. My recommendation is not to do it until you are absolutely certain it's what you want, without doubts, for some time. Good luck with the decision you make. Obviously, you'll have our support no matter what.

TrueBeautyTS,

Well I voted to whack it off... but I see so far it's 50/50 with 14 votes...
And going with braveman I'll take this at entertainment value - like my boob job poll - 90% against - but guess what - I'm going to do it anyway and planned to all along...
Basically I guess the question is, do you use it for it's intended purpose (sticking into things) or is it just for looks? And if so does it mess up your panty line.
PS - have you ever watched a sex change video? Like major OUCH!

the question is.... are you transitioning? because if you are then you will never complete the task with a penis, but im no doctor so do what you feel is right for you at this point in your life.

Ah yes young grasshopper... which brings us back to the discussion of what is a transsexual. Is it someone in transition from one sex to another, or one who transcends both sexes on a permenant basis, a third sex. And at what point does one's genitalia determine one's sex or gender orientation?
Points to ponder...

TrueBeauty TS,
You are the voice of compassion, empathy and reason on this board. I think that whatever you decide will be right for you. I think a long blunt cut with bangs is always a safe bet regardless of your particular facial features. It is soft, feminine and flattering for all facial types.
Whatever you decide it will be gorgeous., (even though I have no idea what you actually look like).

Sweety i think you need to do alooooooooot of research! This is not like your buy a dress & your asking "DO YOU LIKE HOW THIS LOOKS ON ME?" Its a extremely delicate matter, the one that knows weather its for you or not is you , no one else. I know a few post-ops that before the change they had this idea, actually this mind set , that once they went forth with the SRS that their lives would be filled with less problems, and that they will be happier, and that haveing this done wil put a end to all their problems" "NOT TRUE". Im not saying that you will have the same outcome, who knows maybe you wil have great sucsess from getting the SRS. Just think it through sweety . aswell as knowing the post -ops i just mentioned i also know some that have done it and have great results, and they feel& seem very happy with what they did. Its just when girls think that getting the SRS will solve all their problems that some end up disillusioned , and wondering why.Im speaking on girls who i know & who i have spoken with and what they have said to me. Many post-ops are happy, and many are not. Just think it throughly and get as much as info as you can from docters, physciatrists , and so one. SRS, is not for everyone.

You make some great points, however, I have a feeling this poll was created to gage the views of the guys and not so much as a guiding hand, maybe I'm just being cynical though!
JANIRA
12-01-2007, 05:00 AM
Im sure it was directed mainly at the guys, but i just like to say my POV, I am not fond of girls jumping , or rushing into something. Call me mother theresa ,..lol... i just like offering advise, which when i was transitioning i never had, so i would think from a fellow tgirl that it would be comforting for her to hear different views on her topic.

Totally, what you said was very sweet and from the heart. I didn't mean it in a negative way, it's that when someone writes something from the heart like you did, it's kind of hard thinking of it falling on deaf ears. Like I said I may just be a cynic!

you made the points i would've made. it's right for some, not for others. the choice doesn't come bearing gifts, but it can bring an internal peace if it's what you truly, truly want...and i guess that is a gift.
but as lust4ts pointed out, one look at the poll choices shows the true intent of the thread.

Seriously it tastes like shit but it gives you an energy boost much better than powerade or redbull. A good thing to do is squeeze lemon juice into your mouth first and just down it, that way you can't really taste it. If you ever have a really bad hangover and you have a date or something strenuous the next day, try it, you'll feel much better!
