I've been looking for something like a sabot as a tender-- I have an old Avon inflatable which is fine for offshore 'cos I can stow it on deck but I fancy something towable for coast-puddling that can be rowed or outboarded but is still fun under sail and safe for the kids-- how does the sabot shape up? (I draw six feet so this sort of thing is quite an issue...)

Good deal...we're taking 2 boats up to Newport tomorrow. My brother ,2 of his daughters and their boyfriends are taking his Beneteau 432 and my gf, 2 nephews and I are taking my J35. WSW 15 with gusts to 25, going to be cold but fast. Much drinking will occur upon arrival. :D

Hara, Haagen-dazs is the best ice cream in the world! Have you ever had Haagen-dazs Cookie dough dynamo!? It's to die for!

But my true vice is chocolate milk. Nestle Quik! I live off that stuff! I grew up on whole milk, you know the red cap at the grocery store, but now I buy 2% in the blue cap. It was hard, but apparently it's healthier.
