iPhone - does anyone have one or know people that have one?

I'm thinking of buying one, but I want to know if anyone has bad reviews on them...

Is the internet as good as they say on them or are they a waste of money?

I should be getting one to unlock in a week or so. I'll test it out and let you know how it performs :) Seems like a pretty sweet machine, although I have always had mixed feelings about using the internet on handhelds, pda, etc.. it is a nice bonus, but never a fully satisfying experience.

Yea, it does seem good but like you say, I'm not sure about the internet. But let me know if you like it or not when you get yours.

I have a bunch of friends that have them and really seem to like them. There is also a hack so you do not have to get AT&T service if you don't want it.
I didn't get one because I picked up a new blackberry perl about a month before the iphone came out, but now that it has come down $100 and I just lost that blackberry, that I hated anyway....

I know two who has one and they seems very pleased about it too. I've not tried using it myself, so I can't say how user friendly it is, but looking at people using it, it seems that it is very intuitive and every aspect of the user interface is really thought through (maybe with exceptions of the keyboard for text-messaging, but people seems to cope with that too)...

Lol the Iphone to me looks rubbish, expensive, over hyped and its already outdated.

Get a decent mobile phone which does all of that and more for a cheaper price. Just don't buy into the Apple hype, yes it looks nice but I do not recomend buying one.

All mobile phones > Iphone

PC > Mac

Creative > Ipod

The Iphone is great,the typing can be a pain to start with but you get used to it,it is a two handed phone for the most part,the internet is fine if you are on a wireless network,not that good if not.The unlocked models are no good,everytime you update on your computer it locks again then you have to go through a process of downloading unlock software,APPL is faster than the unlocking people.i hate att but in a 18 months they will be available on other networks.In the mean time the chinese has a knockoff for 179 available on ebay that works on any network,try that one and if you like it upgrade,the knock off works great.
