Will the price of the West supporting another unpopular dictator, in another moslem country, be another moselm theocracy... this time with a nuclear arsenal?

i think this is the last thing the world needs. a country with a nuclear arsenal on the brink of colapse and whole region of the world infamous for terorrisim itching to get there hands on them.

i think we are looking at the brink of a nuclear holacaust that no one could ever imagine.

I don't see a total collapse happening unless we prop Musharraf up. I don't really see that happening either. I think he knows he's gone, & he's just stalling while he looks for some place to go. He might even be having trouble raiding the treasury because he didn't think his collapse would happen so fast.

I don't see any theocracy in Pakistan either. They're mostly Muslim, but then again, we're mostly Christian. We could be on the brink of electing our fist female head of state. They did it a long time ago. They're mostly Sunni. You know, the conservative wing of Islam. Yet Ms Bhutto is the leader of the popular uprising that's about to send Musharraf packing. It just doesn't fit the scenario for radical Islamic theocracy.

Bhutto's smarter than Musharraf, & everybody in Pakistan knows it. She played it smart & kept it bloodless when she was deposed by him. She's still playing it smart & her followers are keeping it as non-violent as possible. She's just putting up with his petty nonsense & refusing to get goaded into the stupidity that would play into his hands. It's like she's just rolling her eyes & drumming her fingers while saying to him, "Are you still here? Why?". From what I can tell, the whole world is taking the same stance toward him.

if A. Q. Khan were shut down in the 1980's. Many western intelligence agencies knew all about his activities at the time but never got an order to shut him down. The question one should ask is WHY? :o
