LA Finally Beats NY in Something!

Although my time spent in the Big Apple can best be descrided as "a learning experience" I would live there any day over L.A. where I was born and raised.NY is better on all fronts except maybe weather,mexican food and Lakers....and now we have Joe Torre!

Better manager cant be found and the tight wad Dodgers finally dropped some $ and look to ink Torre and perhaps Donnie Baseball as well(GASP!) to 3 year deals.While Torre and Mattingly wont win us a title alone,its a great addition to the Dodger legacy and surely one of the darkest days in Yankee lore.....now perhaps Torre can bring A-Rod too!

you'll win the west. Torre is extremely underrated, even though NY has had the payroll, he's an excellent man-manager. He'll keep the pressure off the players, and with the young base you guys have out there, you'll contend as long as the dodgers spend wisely. NYY need to go back to what got us al the championship in the late nineties and draft well and only sign to fill holes, not buying everyone who best years are behind them. Mainly we need a fing Shrink to se who'll crack under those bright lights in the house that Ruth, and now jeter :P built.
