i thought american women were so free thinking and open and all that other hip stuff?

I'm closeted, and hence, never go to the 'parties,' but I think, given the ENDA bill, it's clear as day that America is as close-minded as it gets.

I imagine that less than 1% of people who could be involved / interested, regardless of gender, go to the events you are talking about.

I hate to turn this into a political thread, though with the ENDA reference it's already been taken in that direction. What really saddens me is that politically I'm a conservative, and my side of the aisle has become so obsessed with being "family values" oriented that they've entirely forgotten what those values truly are. "Conservatives" today aren't concerned about equal rights or acceptance, at least not when it comes to those issues in applicable areas, such as ENDA. They want to "protect the sanctity of marriage" (yeah, tell me again how our nation's divorce rate protects that sanctity again, because I must have missed that explanation) and keep the nation from being "overrun" by people they deem "perverts". Granted, we certainly have our share of perverts here (and I mean that in a very, very good way!), but what I do in my own bedroom and what you do in yours in no way affects anyone but those taking part. It matters not. But try telling that to today's "conservatives" and you'll be called the lowest of the low.

The fact of the matter is, true conservatives understand that all people deserve equal rights. True conservatives don't believe in discrimination based on sexual preference or the gender one indentifies themself as. True conservatives think the government should keep their nose out of such things, other than to make it clear that such discrimination is not to be tolerated and laws made against it will be enforced.

It's a damn shame what's happening in Washington on this matter, and I say that sincerely. When will those of us who actually understand this throw those who don't out of power? I hope and pray the day will come soon.

When I asked a female friend of mine some time ago to go to Vapor with me, she asked what purpose that would serve as she was not particularly interested in competing with transgenders for the affection and attention of men who were looking to be with a someone with addtional equipment (her words, not mine). I told her it would be fun to keep the guys guessing as to whether she was TG or GG. SOmehow she passed, lol

to be fair the parties I've been to at whatever club they've been held in have often had a shocking (more than 1) amount of GG's stop in (whether it be for a minute or an hour)

there was one party I didn't attend that had a good amount of GG's come from the party they were attending to the party being held for the [girls] because OUR party's DJ kicked ass on the turntables; but they were told on the mic "IF you're not a chick with a dick get out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" so...........

I watched a little bit of Maury and the funny thing was they showed this blond Chick in a supergirl outfit and much like a previous posting I made regarding GG's at NYC parties when asked it's a man or woman she says it's gross.
