I have no idea since i've never been with a working girl in NY or anywhere, but most girls from Brazil never go to the US (probably due to post-9/11 security issues) so I doubt it.

In fact, I can't even name a single South American 'star' that has moved or even toured the US, although they're all over Europe all the time.

So, likely it's the wrong girl you're thinking of.
