Not sure how many other Canadians there are on here but i don't know about you but i am not so thrilled about the prospect of another election so close to the last one. I mean 3 Prime Ministers in 4 years :roll:
For those that don't know about Canadian election rules and such. In a couple days our PM Stephen Harper :roll: will be making his speech from the throne as it is called to set the agenda of the Canadian government this year. If the oppisition parties feel they disagree with the agenda they can vote no confidence and bring down the government wich will force a new federal election.
We don't impeach our PM's we just let there oposition parties pull the rug out from under them. There is an election at least once every four years but like what is happening now the oposition can force an early election if they so choose to do so. There is also no limit as to the number of terms that a PM can run in an election.
