Yes there was an interesting exchange between Allanah and I where I said Peanuts aka 7969 in LA was better. Then she said, "No it's not". I said, "Yes huh", and then she summed it up by saying about NYC, "It all happens here".

In retrospect her parties are different than anything else, but I like the normal club atmosphere of Peanuts instead of the sideshow approach where the girls are flashing their dicks and getting blown, etc. I've been to a lot of clubs, and outside of the pretty decent number of working girls you will find at Peanuts, it's a lot like any str8 club. I think the exception is that the guys almost all come alone. I hate this about it. It is a bunch of individual guys afraid to talk to each other because they don't want to seem gay or whatever. So they come alone, and don't talk. It's eerie. It's very un-straight club like where everyone goes with friends. I want a guy to be talking about me to his friends all night or telling them about me later. The closetness that happens in our community kinda bums me out, but at the same time I totally respect and understand it.

The Allanah parties are cool because they bring transsexuals and their admirers together in a big, well planned, organized event. I am not saying her parties aren't a good time, cause that wouldn't at all be the truth. I just felt like I was in an alternate universe. I was honestly pretty fucked up by around 1-2AM, but I don't remember guys and girls dancing together, just a bunch of girls dancing up on stage, throwing porn movies into the crowd and flash bulbs going off a lot.

Do guys really like to see girls flashing limp dick? I mean I wouldn't think so. I love dick, but seeing a hot guy flashing a limp cock wouldn't at all be a turn on to me. But then I am the type who would rather goto a strip club and see the girls wearing thongs than being naked anyway.

So NYC/Club Opaline has the organized, flashy Themed Event thing going on, and LA/Peanuts is more of a casual, "regular night at the club" vibe. Interesting.

Here in Minneapolis, halfway between the two coasts, we have the club I work at, The Gay 90's. It's huge, crowd capacity of a couple thousand, six seperate and distinct bars inside. We also have a blend of the two atmospheres, being flashy, glitzy in our showlounge (although, it is strictly a drag show), and being kicked back casual in many of the other bars.

It's like the East Coast collides with the West Coast, and they blend together.

But that being said, we don't have any girls as stunningly beautiful as Allanha or Vicki, not even close. Not that many TS girls at all, really. Gia has apparently been to the club while she was visiting Minnesota, but girls of that calibur are rare indeed.

If only we could combine the three seperate scenes together. . .Oh, and throw in a splash of the brazillian scene for good measure. . .
