Actually, this new revelation only surprised me till I remembered that his "confession" came several months after the arrest.

OK, so on the one hand we have accusations of Craig's gay shenanigans going back 40 years, and a confession submitted by mail a couple of months after he's caught by a cop. Oh, and in between he made a career out of homophobia.
