Quite a few times it has been brought up that she has been on EROS. As famous as she is, has anyone even visually seen her since her incident?

The moral to my story is don't use craigs list.
I would really like to know if that story is even real and then, if it is, how did he get the phone number.

Nadia you sound like a real cool down to earth person. I have seen the ads on eros for Miriam and wondered myself if it was her but since no one else on HA seemed to be asking I thought I shouldn't rock the boat.

I doubt that 'what happened' had anything to do with escorting since she is open about her status in advertising. It's my guess that 'what happened' owing somebody a large amount of money.

As far as escorting, it is a way to make money that does not involve specialized skills besides beauty. Think about it a Eros rates, 1 customer per day (at $300) = $100,000 per year.

If she is ok , that is very good news. I was one among many people here who prayed for her recovery. I think that this is the major concern of many here.

Eros does not verify that the photographs one submits are in fact "you", unless you sign up for their "verified photo service"; where they compare the photograph submitted to some sort of offical picture ID (drivers license or passport).

Eros does verify idenity in so much as the name and other information of the person filling out the model's release matches credit card and apparently now a driver's license or some other ID.

Eros does state in their model's release that the person submitting the photographs states they are of them or they are legally able to use said photographs,amoung other things. It goes on to state that the advertiser will reimburse Eros Guide all expenses incurred if they are sued or other legal action takes place because due to use of a "fake" or photograph without consent.

In the past girls have used pictures from Victoria's Secret, and other magazines, not to mention the past and current practice of "Photoshop adjusted" photographs that to even a child are plainly fake.

People running houses use photos of the girls that generate the most interest, sometimes with or without the girls consent, as well.

It is not totally impossible that a someone who knows Miriam is either using her photo with or without her consent. It happens all the time, especially as sssssssooooooooooo many guys fork over $$$ or even $$$$ for girls that look NOTHING like the photo on the advert.

Eros did away with the verified photos. Also if you have an agency account with Eros you can place an ad for anyone, with out any proof, model release, ID or any information on the girl. You do need to have an agency release on file with Eros though. So anyone with an agency account can email them right now with a few pictures of who ever and some text and have a new ad up in a few days.
