I'm familiar with it, but the last (and only) issue I bought had Lilliene Li on the cover, so it was some time ago. High-speed internet and wireless connections have removed the need for print, y'know?

I used to read every issue. I think it's the best. I have most of the first 40 issues and some after. Lately, I haven't had much time to go across town to pick up issues. I would pick one up if you were in it. There is so much great stuff on the net for free these days. If I did not have net access I wouldn't miss an issue.

I didn't know it was still around.

BTW,didn't Kim Christy publish a mag in the 80's/90's too?

Kim Christy's mag was called "Female Mimics". Plus I think that mag was around before Kim took it over. That goes back to the late sixties, I believe.

i am aware of the existance of that magazine. i bought a copy once. but quite frankly i havent seen it for some time.

a sidenote: no, i dont think broadband has replaced print. quite on the contrary for me. after years of online reading i am back to have a subscription to a daily newspaper and several magazines. it cuts through that incomprehensible load of "information" online. besidesw, print is better to read i noticed.

Rupert Murdoch seems to belive in print after the buying the wall street journal publisher Dow Jones today for a mere 6 Billion.

I saw an interview with him and he said that other countries like China have a very strong demand for it.

I was really wondering how the international sales of Transformation Magazine was going.

Nadia

Wow. I hope they do a retro issue on Lilienne someday. I bet that was some photo shoot. That beautiful woman will always be in my top three for not just her looks, but her fun personality. She's a very sweet person.

Nadia,

Nadia, you look a helluva lot like my first wife.

If I start posting things directed towards you like "Where the Hell's my money!" some night,I'm having a first marriage flashback.

... Gawking at a beautiful woman such as Nadia will spawn marital reveries in some of us. :)

First, thanks for the picture of you, Lillienne, and Charmane. I have met both ladies before, and they are very nice.

As for Transformation, I do see it once in awhile, usually at a major newsstand (such as the one on Cahuenga and Hollywood or Circus of Books). You won't be finding it at Bookstar or Barnes & Noble. I did read it back in the day, but with the advent of the internet, I've cut back on magazines in general.

I haven't seen one in years. I remember reading it some in the early 1990's when I was trying to come out originally.

They probably have a web site. Maybe I'll go look when I'm done here.

Hugs,
TS Jamie

I've been in Transformation several times. Just in the scene photos, not in a pictorial. It used to be available at Tower Records, but they went BK. In LA, it was also available at most newstands and smaller book stores. They also used to have a Transformation night once a month or so at Peanuts and hand out copies, but they stopped that a while back. I haven't seen a new issue in some time, and the local representative hasn't been on the scene in a while either.

Before I had the internet, there was Transformation.

That is the first and best source for TS porn that I had. I still have all of the issues I bought, but not the complete set.

The pictorial of Foxy Angel in the angel lingerie is so unbelievably hot.

All the hot girls and some great reading too.

Props to Jerri and the gang for a great mag.

I remember when they did that at 7969. I got an autographed copy from Vo (a review of a movie she appeared in was inside). Maybe they should start doing that again, especially on Friday nights.

Believe it or not, but the 7-Eleven across from 7969 actually sells it, although it's back there with Hustler and Club...for good reasons. And yes Wendy, I did notice you and Gia on the cover (nice!).

If you bring any copy with my pic in it, I'll autograph it for you too LOL.

I think that the gal who was the local representative has had some personal issues, getting in the way of giving away issues at clubs anymore.
