Impeachment of Bush AND Cheney is now the ONLY option for the US Congress. With the commutation of Irving "Scooter" Libby's sentence in the face of overwhelming evidence of guilt. It is clear that the Pres and V. Pres are criminals.
This makes Nixon's Saturday night massacre look like a minor infraction.

Personally I think that since both Libby and The Gangster Clinton were convicted of perjury they should both suffer the same fate. So nothing should happen to Libby and his wife should get Schumers NY Senate seat then make a run for the presidency.

So now you're calling Americans, crooks? Shit, I'd rather be a crook than a fucking pussy. What happened to you euros?

Hey Moron,
Clinton was never convicted of perjury. Libby was convicted and sentenced to prison for perjury and obstruction.
Now Bush has become a part of the obstruction by commuting Libby's sentence thereby silencing him FOREVER.
What are you RED STATE Bible hillbillies doing on this board? Why don't you and tfan go jack off to the Sean Hannity show?

Hey Douche-Bag,
Clinton was disbarred from his Arkansas law license for five years and ordered to pay $25,000 in fines to that state's bar officials. The agreement came on the condition that Whitewater prosecutors would not pursue federal perjury charges against him.
Why would he agree to a plea bargain if he weren't guilty?
Then the anti-american gangster clinton pardons Susan McDougal after she was convicted on May 28, 1996 for four counts of fraud and conspiracy relating to the Whitewater scandal.
Hmmm. Looks like you got some splooge on your face.

Oh, so you're saying that it's okay to let Scooter the Traitor Libby get away with proven purjury and likewise justice was equally served in the case of gangsta Clinton's alleged purjury. Either your happy with both outcomes, or you're upset with both outcomes. Otherwise your a hypocrite. If you tip the case by using a epithet for one and not the other, you're a hypocrite.

And it's not an epithet for the gangster clinton but an accurate description.
Hmmm...I don't remember the gangster clinton serving either.

To claim that Clinton's a gangster and deny that Scooter's covering for a traitor is hypocrisy. Especially given that the first is false and the second is true. Just get in line behind the other hypocrites guyone and don't whine so much about it. Conservatives are such whiners!

clinton was sued by paula jones , during the case clinton lied in a sworn depostion and suborned perjury.
clinton committed multiple crimes. fitzgerald knew there was no underlying crime so he set perjury traps so save his rep.
end of story.

nope.
point is there was NO UNDERLYING CRIME. Libby was set up in a perjury trap.
Clinton conspired to suborn perjury and lied in court. he did it in a deliberate premeditated manner , there was no trap set for him.

The legal point my dense friend is Libby was FOUND guilty.
It's not my fault you're a hypocrite. It's not Clinton's fault or even Scooter's. Just admit that Scooter's was FOUND GUILTY of perjury and should pay for it and you can stop being one. That's all it takes.

Dense !? LOL Good one. Libby was found guilty and is a felon. He did pay, 250 Gs and 2 years probation. The sentence was commuted, not pardoned.

Clinton suborned perjury and committed perjury yet is not a felon.
So this non-felon who should be one pardoned Terrorists. So I won`t be a hypocrite if a perjurer is pardoned because being caught in a perjury trap is not the same as being a terrorist.

Either you believe in the rule of law or you do not.
You Mr. Canada are not allowed to make your own legal decisions.
Irving Libby was convicted of MULTIPLE FELONIES BY A JURY in a U.S. COURT OF LAW.
Your OPINION IS MEANINGLESS. In the USA we obey the law.
DO THEY LET CRIMINALS decide the outcome of criminal TRIALS IN CANADA?
OR IS THERE A RULE OF LAW?
ARE YOU PERSONALLY ABOVE THE LAW?
IF SO STAY OUT OF THE USA!!!!

Let us see. Clinton lied, Libby lied. Neither lied in court, both in sworn testimony. Clinton's lie was about having sex (in a sexual harassment lawsuit, that was dismissed), Libby's was about what he knew of the outing of a CIA operator (in grand jury testimony about the leak, in which he was the only one charged). Both were caught. Clinton lost his law llicense, Libby was sentenced to jail and a fine.
Libby, like Clinton, was not going to tell the 'whole' truth. He was, like Clinton, going to evade the absolute truth, and give just enough information to satisfy the prosecutor. Both were caught in their lies.
That you see Clinton's as a worse offense exposes your bias. They are both felons.
As Fitzgerald's sentencing memo said: Libby had options, including telling the truth, declining to speak with FBI agents or taking the Fifth Amendment before the Grand Jury or challenging the lines of inquiry he believed to be improper.
"Regrettably, Mr Libby chose the one option the law prohibited: He lied. "

Clinton gave sworn testimony by deposition before a Judge. To be specific, Judge Wright in the Jones v. Clinton case. When he did so he committed perjury repeatedly. Added to that fact is subornation of perjury , filing a false affidavit, witness tampering, obstruction, etc.
Libby fell into a perjury trap because Fitzgerald knew no law was broken. If a law was broken R.Armitage would be on trial.

What law was broken to bring Clinton into that courtroom?
None, it was a civil lawsuit.
What law was broken to bring Libby into the Grand Jury room?
None, Fitzgerald lacked the evidence.
Both lied under oath. Neither in the commission of a crime. Both were caught.
You're excusing Libby's behavior.
An aside, the commutation was probably the right thing, and Libby showed his character by paying the fine today.
A few other nuggets:
Marc Rich's lawyer was I. Lewis (Scooter) Libby. "Early in March 2001, at a "contentious" Congressional hearing to review Clinton's pardons, Libby testified that he thought the prosecutions's case against Rich "misconstrued the facts and the law". -Wiki
The Washington D.C. Bar has suspended Libby's law license, pending the outcome of his appeal.
Libby is the first sitting White House official to be indicted in 130 years.
