Hi everyone, I just joined the boards here, thanks for having me :)

I'm working on getting more TS performers and video titles listed on the Internet Movie Database (www.IMDB.com) because, well, it's really damn hard to find Any on there at the moment.

If anyone want's to help out, here's a link (you'll have to register, but it's free, so why not?)to the first form for getting a title listed (video titles have to be listed before the performers in the video can be listed):

The whole process is kinda a pain in the ass, but I think it's worth doing.

To list a title you'll need to know:

release date
production company
director
at least 3 cast members
and a few other things, they'll let ya know as you work through the process

Like I said, it's a pain in the ass, but if more people submit info, it's just that much better exposure for the TS community (well, at least the TS porn community, but what the hell).

IMDB is a website I used to visit a lot, but I'm not sure whether they would include those paarticular hardcore movies in their database. I'm also unsure on whether they include DVD-only films. I'd be keen to know whether they accept your suggestion for those two films or any other hardcore movies.

Then again they have included Satiated, Cafe Flesh and Deep Throat (three of the better known straight hardcore movies of the golden era of porn) and even mention that Linda Lovelace filmed a short movie called Dog Fucker. Sounds unpleasant.

Personally, I now only use the IMDB for checking out older mainstream movies. I doubt many people use it to look up porn films- there are DVD related sites for that. For reviews of films that are a few day to a few years old, I'd recommend rottentomatoes.com .

But, in any case, hopefully they'll put those films up.

As the name suggests, it's a beastiality flick that Linda did. I've seen it (various forms of it are floating around the net), and it's legit - I gather it was quite famous in it's time, as Linda is alleged to have asked if she could do more like it. I somewhat doubt that, but who knows.

IMDB does list hardcore titles, has hundreds (possibly thousands) in the database, but they are hard to find when searched by title.

Put "anal" in a search, and you get next to nothing. Search for "cytherea" and you get "Anal Surprise Party" among other titles (now I'm trying to imagine what exactly an "Anal Surpise Party" involves, mmmmm). So it's mostly restricted to titles attached to performers names.

But the catch is that you can't list a performer until they have some video or film titles listed first, so submitting those would be the first step.

The problem, as things are now, is that you can't find hardly any TS performers or titles at all right now. Apparently no-one has taken the time to enter in the data.

And, yah, IMDB isn't known as a porn search tool, but getting more TS girls listed is just one more step forward in getting TS performers and movies out of the basement. Check out the AVN awards page. Best Transexual release is listed down in the specialty catagory, along with Spanking and Foot Fetish.

It seems a bit odd.

I'm not all that interested in the videos or marketing/reviewing thereof, but isn't part of Hondarobot's idea that improving the listing of TS videos in IMDB to improve the standing of TS entertainment in the industry and to make it more readily available to those who use that resource? So I think it's a good thing to pursue.

Uh, yes, that's my aim, I guess. I'm becoming worried that maybe most people on this board, as well as others, just don't get what I'm proposing we do. "We", as in "this is a big project, and I can't do it by myself".

Short version:

1:Start submitting TS video titles to IMDB

2: Then submit TS performer names/profiles to IMDB

3: I'll go into steps 3 and beyond later, cause some people don't seem to grasp the first few steps so far :)

Anyhoo, long term plan is to make TS performers and video titles "un-weird" as far as, well, Joe Lunchbox is concerned I guess, or anyone who happens to have an unenlightened opinion.

It's a process, it takes some work, and I'm doing what I can.
