Trannyshack this sunday (3/6) at splash/SBNY

I'm travelling from LA to NY this Sunday and the Splash website announces the debut of Trannyshack March 6 at midnite. Does this mean what I think (i.e. this will not be a gathering of automechanics) and will it be worth going?

The promoters of this nite "cherry jubiless/Milan productions" did an event in November at splash called the glammy awards hosted by Candis Cayne (identified as a drag queen in another web site) and Shasta Cola. Does this help?

Candis Cayne is a regular performer at Allanah's Monthly Parties. As for Cherry Jubilees and Shasta Cola those are well known drag performers. I figure this party is more a gay party with drag queens than a tranny party.

They have a trannyshack in SF on Tuesday nites. But its mainly gay, with a few girls. They have a drag show at midnite, and at closing, they do drag races in the alley, where girls in platforms do the 40 yd dash. Kinda fun. But not really a TS scene

I am starting to see a conspiracy theory with the Allanah bashing Splash post.

1 - Allanah hears that Splash will be creating a Tranny party which will compete with her Tranny parties.

2 - Allanah publishes this story about discrimination and evil doing conveniently right before the Splash club opens their Trannyshack night.

3 - Everyone angrily boycotts the Splash party, it sputters

4 - Allanah's party continues with a sustained market share as the "only place in town".

5 - Allanah secretly bans people from going to her party just because she doesn't like them, but since there is no legal prescedent for not letting people in you don't like, that makes it OK.

6 - The end.

allanahs parties are on saturdays and thursdays....so it has no bearing on her parties or following....she doesnt resort to those tactics like the other unnamed people that tried to ruin allanahs parties when allanah was trying to create a party a couple years back......

I have done the door and hosted some of NYC hottest and trendiest clubs
i do currently work at allanahs events but i will tell you straight out that splash bar is and ALWAYS was very sketchy with the trannies
they use them for a show on there off nites to entertain the gay crowd High Camp
it is NOT and does not advertise the party for trannies and there friends it is for the gay men and the drag queens
on another note
the only people i do not allow me to pass me when working the door are drunks,theives,street hoes and people with a negative agenda ,we keep the vibe fun,hot,friendly and i must say we do a great job

I am not welcome because Allanah and I dont see eye to eye on past history. However I was a huge supportor of the first two parties after which I was told I wasnt welcomed. Strange how its a party for the guys yet those and I am NOT the only one, yet mainstream tgirls and others are NOT welcome because of "personal" reasons. But who cares its her party and you dont see me posting on every board in the world asking my fans, my friends, and my co-workers to BOYCOTT the party. I feel Karma is a bitch and will work its way as it seems fit.

In fact I have always supported the party as its suppose to be a place to worship tgirls in general NOT one certain tgirl. I will continue to send guys who ask about the party and I will continue to list it as one of the only recognized tgirl functions with great themes, stars, and other tgirl related functions. If Allanah chooses to pick and choose the girls then thats her CHOICE as its SPlash CHOICE too pick and choose what kind of crowd they want.

I use to manage a party here in Ft. Lauderdale but money is money and if a certain girl I disliked was coming then I swallowed my personal pride as its a business. When people begin to mix personal with business thats when problems begin.

I enjoyed the party(s) I did attend and think they are a great source of entertainment for tgirls and their admirers but if you dont see eye to eye with the host then so be it.

I think other than being the host or on the ads and organiner of my party it is far from an "Allanah Party"
It is ALL the other girls who make the party.
The parties are not done to satisfy my own personal ego or as a fan fest for me- Otherwise I would never invite guest stars, have entertainers, or dancers.

They still have "trannyshack" out here in San Francisco but it is different than allanahs partys.
Its promoted by a guy named greg taylor who also promoted one of San Franciscos most infamous clubs called PRODUCT in the 90's.
Trannyshack is more devoted to lets say drag queens and gender freaks.
Its one of the few interesting clubs left in San Francisco.
There is also DIVAS formerly known as the MOTHERLODE.
I think there is definately more acceptance and diversity of transgenders out here except for the gay crowd.
