My travels for business and pleasure have taken me to Greece, Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, the UK, Germany, Austria, the US, Switzerland, Holland, Malta, and one or two other places...

When I travel I like to meet the people and walk around cities and try the local food. The new experiences have helped me see the bigger picture.

Born in Pennsylvania, studied there and in Connecticut. Worked in Massachusetts, California and Texas. Living now in Illinois. Vacationed in Equador, Peru, the Carribean, Great Britain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Turky and Kenya.

I'm kinda a loner by nature, but I find the combination of museums, architecture, travel and good food do a lot to open me up to conversation and people.

Slovenia´s neighbour-countries are Austria, Croatia, Italy and Hungary.

Yes, it was Tito´s Yugoslavia that got divided by a horrible war, especially the one in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia was made up of the following republics: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia (with the two provences Vojvodina and Kosovo), Montenegro and Macedonia.

Sure. Slovenia actually has the same architecture as Austria. It has beautiful alps and a piece of the Adriatic sea. A small country but wonderful.
