doh, it's been asked before.... and here was me thinking I was original :cry:

It's been a question usually asked by those attempting to take cheap digs at me.

Once again, my anonym, handle, sobriquet, pseudonym, whatever, came about after I had read an article several years ago about transsexual women through the eyes of an admirer. The writer referred to the TS women in his milieu as "real" girls. When I finally decided to graduate from lurker status to participant in here, the only thing that came to me the second it asked for a handle as I was signing up was "Real girls for me". It then became "Realgirls4me".

I don't remember the article title or where I read it (it was online years ago), but he was, as I am trying via my anonym, simply attempting to pay homage to women who weren't born women in the "conventional' nurture/nature sense. Maybe in his world TS women were more woman or ladylike than the GGs he knew at the time. Unfortunately, I don't remember the crux of the article, just the endearing term. ...It's just a term, like "gurl", which some seem to utilize frequently.
