The operative word being SOME, but there are some girls who look decent in pics but then when you see them in person it's totally different! I won't name any names but you know who you are!

This can be said for anyone, not just TS girls. I'm sure a lot of us have had guys send pics and when you actually meet them, it's easy to see the pic was taken about 5 years and 70 pounds ago.

I'm always amazed when I see a celebrity walking around LA. Some of them look just like you would expect, but others, you look at them and can't believe they are the same person you've seen on tv or the movies.

I do agree with all of it, but fortunally for us makeup and hair design along with good photographers were invented... I believe that in some settings a great picture if capture correct is a still of the person's soul. Now apply that to an escort add and you may have a problem...Imagine seeing this picture when you walk in the door....
As you can see makeup can change one's appearence dramatically and also in good ways. I love photography, makeup production and other things....It's a fun job!

Oh wow.... That is SO uncool of you to use my pic as your BEFORE pic. LOL

Seriously, I agree with you. I don't see anything wrong with using your best pics, with good lighting, hair and make up. It's important to make a good first impression on anyone. In fact, I wish more people would send their BEST pics. But I don't like it when people send pics that are not even close to what they look like in person. Even with good lighting, hair and make up, a good picture should still show what the person looks like, but at their best.

(And for those of you who have not seen Danielle in person, she is even HOTTER looking than her pictures, if that's even possible!!!)

Well this can be said for anyone- NOT just Transsexuals.

1. There are people who are incredibly attractive in pictures and do not look as amazing in real life. Fashion models are a great example of this. The "supermodels" become famous becuase of their versatility of assuming different looks and because they just have that "magic" that transforms from life to film.

2. There are people who do not look so great in pics/tv and when you see them in person they look way better. There are even people who already look great in pics and still look better in person.

3.Speaking from a point of view of a person who has taken thousands of pics in her life-the good pic really has to be a combo of good make up, good lighting, and a good photographer. Still, even with those advantages unflattering angles, poses, and pictures will develop. When a magazine shoots a cover or a fashion story- they shoot hundreds of pictures before coming up with the best. A good rule of thumb is, it takes 100 shots to come up with one excellent image.

4.The camera will iften pick up on things you never notice in real life. Trust me I KNOW! An xtra pounf, a fine line, a blemish will show up right away.

5. There is nothing wrong with selling the best image you can. I want to look my best as any vain ts, Hollywood actress, woman, whom ever. If you are selling an image you want it to be the best it can be. EVERY magazine airbrushes. Everyone is selling an image & a fantasy. Really, if you want reality than you can look at the wrinkles and fat rolls of your wife/husband laying next to you and be satisfied with that.

6. Remember folks its all an artifice and fantasy- make up, hair color, hair extensions, sexy clothing- we all want to look better and that is the way to do it-

NEXT TIME U WANT REALITY
buy The Star's issues of Celibrities Without Their Make-Up
and you can just see how NO ONE looks flawless without a little help ;).

The other side of that, of course, is that some look better in person than in pictures.

Factors that go into "good looking in person" include personality, smell, height and even just circumstance (the old "everyone's good looking at closing time" rule).

Pictures and statistics may not "lie", but they do show selective parts of the truth, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse.

with all due respect, celebs and fashion models are not posting their pics to have you come over and spend hard earned bucks on the presumed look, whereas these girls imply a somewhat resembling appearance to their posted pic...

Celebs and fashion models may not be using their image to have you go over to their house, but they ARE selling a presumed look and/or product. Is it fair to use a 18 year old girl to advertise "age defying wrinkle cream" when she doesn't even have any wrinkles yet? Maybe not, but most people understand that when people are selling something, they sometimes put the highest possible spin on it.

As for escorts and truth in advertising... Since it seems to be, in your opinion, standard practice for a girl to fib a bit on measurements (guys would NEVER do THAT! ) if a girl came along and gave honest measurements, she would be punished for doing so because no guy would call her or want to go see her. Even though she would probably have the same measurements as a lot of the other girls.

I would imagine if you are being graded on a curve and everyone else is cheating, then you better join them or only you will look bad.

And BTW, I want to say Hi to everyone here. :D

That's the operative assumption, and as a result a lot of escorts make those extreme claims: I have 11" of hard steel, 40DD and a 24" waist...sure you do! But I think a great number of guys would be relieved to read true stats and would be drawn to those girls. Some (though what percentage, I don't know) of the most successful girls advertise honestly, and I think their reviews and success bear it out (you know who you are).

As for photos, I totally agree that one should strive to look one's best and be photographed flatteringly, but also that the photos should represent who you really are. That said, all the girls I've come to know--either intimately or just in passing, say at Allanah's party--really do look like themselves, though obviously made up to look as good as possible. Escorts who cheat in this way are found out, and reading SER and other reviews expose them if that's the case.

it goes both ways. some girls look better in person than in their pics. some girls are just naturally photogenic and others naturally blink or yawn or have spinach on their teeth whenever a camera is near. :)

Allanah is a great example of someome who wants to sell quality photos and is very versitale in her looks, I love her styled look, she has the best makeup and ofcorse she is mama mama scalpol...( did I spell that right ? )
Anyways, what I am trying to say is that I also love to style my shoots and "theme" them....But I do it all with you - the consumer - in mind....and ofcorse - putting a bad picture out there will only get you "shade" from queens that hate the way their own body look so they have to pick on others flaws to feel better about themselves
