This girl reminds me of me in so many ways. She has gone off to Mexico alone to have surgery (like I went to Thailand). She is just in a good state of consistent improvement and it is really paying off for her. I really love seeing girls evolve like a butterfly.

Jennifer Paris is a great example of someone who has accomplished an excellent end-state. Allanah is another great example. Gia did Penthouse and Hustler with almost no surgery so she doesn't really fit the mold having always looked good. Similarly, having seen Danielle without surgery, she always looked good.

I just really like seeing girls with the conviction and willingness to take risks to achieve beauty. I knew I wanted to live as a woman, but I knew it would take surgery to do it. My initial surgery with Suporn in Thailand, which had an acceptable result - full FFS (forehead, hairline, nose, chin) and breast implants cost me only $10,000 including travel. Why don't more girls do this? I know it's scary to goto a foreign country, and it is scary to have surgery - but having gone to Thailand over Christmas - alone, that is the kind of conviction it would be nice to see out of more girls.

Obviously there is a huge pay off for TS relating to surgery. I can't even begin to talk about the quality of life improvements, and how people treat you, before and after.

Oh, sure, the secret surgery is posted back over there. Would someone please post what it was, on HA sometime? I'd go read the blog myself, but she still has me locked out of the house. I even still have my own blog over there. Well, what was left of it. . .

:) :?

Oh, what evils the spammers lead the admins to. :) I seem to recall a 'review period' is in effect these days.

Have you been behaving?

Pop in a good viddie Ms. V., take two bags of popcorn and call us in the morning and be good to you.

Um...What kind of meds aren't you using? Do you share?

I saw the title of this thread and read "Conviction" and thought the OPP had had bagged Lisa for the crime of being a habitual sweetie. :D

Sorry to hear of your chat encounter, Alison. I pretty much gave up on that stuff after a week of telling some git that I wasn't female everytime he messaged me with the query "How big are your tits?" (I eventually started pulling odd numbers out of my ass and he didn't seem to care, even when the left and right didn't quite match).

It's cool that people are finding positive role models in this madhouse. Role models are good. Though mine are William Tweed, Carlo Ponzi, and Frank Abagnale, Jr., so I guess it's all relative. :shrug

Hope it all went well, Vicki. Looking forward to seeing those pics. If you're in a lot of pain, please consider the pain killers. Most people get relief and they do them no harm, though that may not have anything to do with your stance.
Come to think of it...you've already gone through worse, right? I'll shut up.

Bringing this thread back to where it first started, I'd like to say that I think that Lisa is one of the most genuine and sweetest girls around. I was lucky enough to have the chance to chat with her and found as much.

I also think she's hot. Her appearance has improved in leaps and bounds. She has a pretty face and a body to kill for. I suppose there are similarities between Lisa and Vicki, both of whom I respect greatly for their courage and conviction in changing their lives and making their dreams come true.

There's far more than just a sexual attraction here. These girls, like many other here, are cool and funny (okay Vicki can be a little sarcastic and caustic and sometimes you can never know if she's joking or being serious, but it's then when she's at her most side-splittingly hilarious).

So let me just say, Lisa and Vicki- you both rock, girls.

I have a question. How do you handle the consiltation overseas? Go seperate times or did you have the consiltation, was happy with it and then had the surgery sometime not too long after (not sure how long waiting times are)? Was talking to my friend who had already offered to take me to San Fran to get a consiltation with Dr. O but he's always wanted to go to Thailand too and said he could take me this winter. If I went to Thailand, I could easily afford my first FFS surgery.

With Dr Suporn, I initially sent him photographs of me from various angles both with and without makeup. Make sure not to try to hide anything. The photos aren't for a beauty contest, they are for him to make an honest evaluation.

Do not tell him what you want, ask him for a recommendation and a quote. That is how you judge a good doctor. There are other good doctors in Thailand and keep in mind Suporn has raised his prices as he became more and more famous. He gets a ton of Europeans coming to see him due to the relative geographic proximity.

Being on a budget, I couldn't really justify making two trips.
