Has anyone here had it? Know anyone who has had it?

I'm having 2-hours of it tomorrow. Supposedly to make me confident in myself and to stop looking at georgeous tgirls on Hung Angels and getting all depressed about not being good enough.

No seriously, I am having hynotherapy tomorrow. I can search on the net and stuff for references but wondered if any of you lot had any stories?

Thx,

Aly

What? You're more than good enough. You're perfect- pretty, sexy, funny and sweet all at the same time.

As for hypnotherapy, I'd use Wikipedia. I do know some people who had it to stop smoking. It failed miserably, but I blame them.

Best of luck.

I have, didn't do anything for me. But it's probably because I didn't want to change.

Ello :-)

Well it is for confidence reasons. Genuinely I'm not a confident person. It's something that you just can't get out of your head. I write confidently and I'm up front, but very shy. I make up for it by being very brupt at times. Also very naive and trusting too with my outlook on life. I'm quite scared of offending people in life really, and that impacts on how I relate to them.

Partly I knew if I said that, that people would say that I'm fine. But to me, I'm not. And it doesn't matter how many times I've been told.

I have undergone it, and had also done a great deal of
research on it while in college.

It does work for some people. And it is nothing like you
see on 'the telly', thus you won't be clucking like a
chicken or other inane acts.

I'd say give it a try.

Zoiks!

Based on your profile above, we sound too much alike.

TW ("The Wife", a title, not a relationship) did some study in hypnotherapy and tried to work with me a couple of times. It didn't work, though as much from my subconcious resistance as from anything else. One of my lovers once said that I could do well with some professional therapy, but if it's to do any good that I need to find one who was smarter than I am. :?
