Depends what you mean by "red light district"...if you want the old fashioned girls lined up on the street stykle like parts of Paris it does not really exist in any profound way in London anymore. Soho is still the cloest you get and there are still plenty of GGs who have little names on cards on stariwells. Never tried but the reviews i've read suggest a profoundly dispiriting experience. There are still a few sex clubs but as farrah says it been very cleaned up - and the chances of being importuned on the street are rather sleight these days. As for TG girls in the area - there are a few but you generally find their ads elsewhere. (London's phone boxes are festooned with adverts for girls and TVs at the lower end of the price range/quality scale). One other key red light area is bayswater but agin that is because lots of girls are based their. There are virtually no visible signs of the business on the street. (GG hookers used to ply their trade on the streets nearby until about 25 years ago but laws have driven most under cover)

I must have missed seeing you Farrah. Would surely have remembered! I seem to recall it as more of a drag show than a Trans nite club.
