My concern isn't just about HIV, but
would be about other STDs as well.

It is highly unlikely that you would
contract HIV from a blow job, but
there are a host of STDs that you
could become infected with.

Yes, people can have like herpes on their mouth. I doubt anyone wants to spend their lives dealing with herpes.

pretty much everybody has herpes simplex type 1 in their body... having to deal with herpes has very little to do with if you have the virus and much more with if your body can keep it supressed

exactly so the chances of getting hsv2 from passive oral sex is pretty darn low
in contrast the chances of you already having hsv1 are pretty damn high
