My fingers have been hurting a little lately, but I've been wanking and playing the guitar so much I thought it was just overuse - but this has me a little concerned - I just took the bandaids off and I see this. What do you guys think?

Anytime blackness appears on, or in, your skin it can indicate a serious infection and/or a large amount of dead tissue. I would seriously get that looked at and stay away from activities that require you to use your fingertips.

If it's painful, it's definately not a good sign. That just doesn't look good at all.

I am guessing that those grey nubs represent the bone INSIDE the fingers and well, in that case, I have to assume that that pic has been altered.

I don't see how the damage could be that extensive without more redness, aggitation, or discoloration to the rest of those two specific fingers.

and I could only imagine the pain would be unbearable in a situation like that and not just beginning at this stage of the supposed damage.

Just consulted with my neighbor, who's a doctor. It turns out that what I thought was some kind of injury or flesh eating bacteria was really just a case of someone photoshopping lamprey mouths onto fingers.
Whew!
(I was gonna let this go for quite a while, but didn't want to actually scare or freak out you guys...thanks for being so concerned..)

It's still not as disturbing as the pic of the breast with the holes in it...Looks like some type of honey-comb looking thing is eating away at it...I don't have the pic because it looks so gross....but yeah, ewww
