Okay... I stumbled across The National Review's list of "50 Great Conservative Rock Songs" and have been busily shitting bricks since. Is this guy SERIOUS?

Top o' the list: the Who's "Won't get Fooled Again". Conservative? Hardly. Completely fed up with political facemongering? Absolutely. "meet the new boss, same as the old boss" would be a hell of campaign slogan for a politician of ANY stripe, wouldn't it?

Other notable nonsense:

Sympathy for the Devil. Mister clueless doesn't seem to realize this is a paean to anarchy. (Clue… the word "sympathy" is in the title, D'oh!)

Wouldn't It Be Nice. Okay, I do think Brian Wilson is a genius…. A POP genius. This hardly qualifies as rock.

It goes on and on. Heroes is suddenly about the Cold War, as opposed to personal freedom. Tell Ziggy, quick!

I could waste a lot of time picking these things apart, but being as I'm a libtard collectivist kinda guy - here's the link - join in the fun!
