Don't they require all immigrants to be Christians?

I think you are mistaken. Australia has no state-run religion, and according to their 2001 Census, just 68% of its citizens identify as Christians.

Australia´s a wonderful country and socially well-established. I´m thinking about to emigrate to Australia and continue my faculty there. But I gotta wait 2 years.....

... heard only the best about Australia and no, not only Christians can emigrate to Australia. Hundreds or maybe thousands of families from Bosnia and Herzegovina emigrated to Australia from 1992 until 2000 and most of them are muslims and live especially in Melbourne and Sydney.

We've got our fair share of nudist beaches.

And women are always tanning topless on all beaches.
But nah, we aren't exactly as progressive as some European countries (e.g. Germany, lol).

But in the grand scheme of things, you wouldn't exactly call Australia 'prudish'.

By the way, whoever it was who commented about our immigration policy:

The White Australia immigration policy began to end during the late 50's.

However, recently there have been a number of independents campaigning against certain Islamic immigration. That's about it though.

Hey, I lived in Brisbane for a year in 2005 and had a ball. Fantastic weather, great beaches and outdoor activities. And a place where even if you think they are a little prudish, you can't argue with their desire to party. Any excuse will do. During summer in Bris I reckon averages out at one street frestival every two weekends. I was there and they are proper parties, close strett, drink beer, stumble home....perfect.

Loved it there, would go back quite happily, still trying to work out why I came back. To anyone who hasn't tried, go and enjoy.

But the australian government obviously does not much like porn,at least officialy. http://today.reuters.com/news/articlenews.aspx?type=oddlyEnoughNews&storyid=2007-03-01T193820Z_01_SYD174888_RTRUKOC_0_US-AUSTRALIA-PORN.xml

You just go to a remote beach, take off your clothes and look out for cops. All of a sudden, it's a nude beach!

Anywho, old people get changed on the beach. They get naked and get their speedos/bathing costumes on. That's a problem for John Howard to eliminate D:
