View Full Version : Why can't I load my #$%^ing avatar?

I've gone to the trouble of finding several different hosting sites, including one that worked in the past, and I can't get the site to accept the link.

I also don't understand how the avs that are obviously bigger in size or bytes get past the stated limits -- I don't mind that they do...but I've got a simple little pic to put up and I can't do it. :frustrated

Hey, Tfan! Yeah, partlycloudy suggested that before. So i loaded the pic and then couldn't figure out how to get a link to just the pic and not the whole page. Plus the 'rules' say 'post an off-site link to the desired picture. ???
I'm on a Mac (no jokes please, it generally kicks ass!) running Firefox.

once the pic is posted, right click (or if you have only one button, ctrl click) over the pic, then search around the menu that comes up for the location.

My question is, Why can't I just download a personal pic fronm my PC's My Pictures file? is there a way I'm just not getting?

you can for attachments....not for avatars...which need to be linked to from another site.

Because the pic has to be online to be linked too from another online site.

Man, that sucks!!!! Plian and simple! The mods, or whomever, need to get thier heads out of thier asses.
