It was much ado 'bout nothin' in my view, and your friends can defend themselves if indeed they were disparaged in some way. They are after all big boys and can fend for themselves, can't they ? I wasn't offended by her comments because of the context the posts were in at the time, and also realizing she wasn't addressing everyone in here with her comment. Her thread was completely hijacked for the worse of ways so she had a right to be mad. Blanket coverage (to generalize) is the sign of a small mind and Danielle doesn't strike me as having one in what few posts I've read from her. She was mad and snapped. You've never jumped the gun and snapped ??? I certainly have in here and in other forums. No one is infallible.

So exercise restraint first when reading something you initially disagree with, and -- AND -- be judicious about what you're going to address, and HOW you're going to address it. Since the majority of those here have never met you in person, and therefore DON"T know what kind of person you really are, it is imperative that you excercise tact and finess if you care about getting along and not ostracized or attacked by some in here. You might indeed be a good guy with a big helpful heart in person, but as you already may know, that simply can't be conveyed through cyberspace postings at times. ...I have traveled the country to meet people I've gotten chummy with on forums, and I'm always amazed by how different some are in person versus their forum persona. It's so-o-o-o-o black and white in some cases. My advice to you then is to get an appointment asap for a makeover in some shade of gray. There. That's my two cents on it.
