IRC - Internet Relay Chat, have many of you used it?

I have used it quite often in the past, but haven't been
using it much lately.

Your experiences with it.....

all the time... the only other mean of inet communication except for icq that i use regularly

dalnet, undernet mostly but that was YEARS ago

I used it during my t-girl beginnings...

The mid to late nineties it was the only way to communicate via PC. Then IMs came along and pretty much took it out. As long as the room is moderated, you don't have to worry about bots too much. But I haven't used it in a couple of years.
