My prediction:

Manning is mauled by the Bears defense, and once sacked, loses his cool and continues to throw postseason interceptions. However, Rex Grossman's league-leading ability to become a one man turnover machine will make him the Colt's best friend as Vinatieri rides the suddenly beastly (read, steroid jacked) Indianapolis defense to once again prove that average kickers with average legs can actually help teams win.

Colts: 13

Bears: 7

I really really really really want the Colts to lose....something about Peyton just makes me not like him.....oh yeah, and that I'm from Baltimore.....damn Colt traitors. I just don't think it's gonna happen with Grossman in the driver's seat and Indy's shameless acquisition of Vinatieri. Guess if you can't beat the Pats....just sign all their good free agents away until you can.

I just played it on Madden so I know it's gonna be Indy 63, Bears 47,lmao!!
(of course I don't think Indy will fumble away 4 punts that were returned for tds because they don't know how to do a fair catch!)

Since the Super Bowl is an event that has come around to transcend football, or the world of sports for that matter, I think the thread should stay here in GD. ...C'mon, who in here will not be attending some type of Super Bowl function where they'll be guzzling beer, eating carne asada tacos and hot dogs, and being let down by the overhyped commercials?

That being said, Grossman is not a Super Bowl caliber quarterback, and the Colt defense has found meaning at the best time possible. Peyton's short drops will wear the Bear defense down. On the other hand, they both have good coaches who are likely to have their respective teams prepared, so ???

Colts - 35

Da Bears - 19

my recommendation:
Chi + the 7 and over 48 1/2 in a parley.

grab your favorite girl and snuggle up to the last game of the season.
and don't forget the best part will be halftime with Prince.
