Wombat....Interesting Q...I think the problem is with society and what is considered strictly a male/female gender breakdown. Unfortunate or not, nature has played some tricks on us, and as a society, we tend to disapprove, or discount the existence of those of us categorized as "Less Than Perfect Specimens." That applies, not only to those in a gender dilemma, but those "vertically challenged", "disfigured", 'disabled from birth", "deaf and/or dumb", etc. The "imperfect" of us are the ones that think anything or anyone different from themselves is a leaser being. The biggest hypocrits in the world are the "religious zealots." Bottom line, be your own person, and comfortable with who "you" are. The rest of humanity isn't going to change, at least, not anytime soon. We are ALL, still going to die....How do you plan to enjoy your existence? :shrug[/b]

I'll admit to it. There is a serious disparity between my religious beliefs and current lifestyle. The only way I am able to justify my past relationships with TS’s, and my current patronage of paid providers, is to assure myself that my involvement in what I regard as “candy coated homosexuality” is a temporary indulgence.

If I were to die tomorrow, I fear my soul would be in some serious peril. But repentance is one of my beliefs. I’ve been divorced, into the “T” scene, excommunicated by my denomination, and estranged from God, since 1999. It was fun for a while, but I’ve wasted enough years, time I should have spent starting and raising a family, and serving the Lord.

Within the last few months, I’ve started attending church singles functions. I look forward to soon putting this all behind me. I think I will be able to deal with my sexual compulsion and same sex attraction issues better in my next marriage, now that what were fantasies are now past experiences, and I have acknowledged my need for professional help.

The issue of hypocrisy has been raised. I think that it is absurd to call someone a hypocrite if the activity they are involved in is against their will. And when it comes to compulsive sexual behavior, until the disorder is treated, the “sex addict” will act out. He may turn down sexual opportunities for a while, maybe even for years, but eventually he will succumb, just as the alcoholic who is “dry”, but not in recovery, will inevitably return to self-destructive drinking.

Current practice in the mental health field is to address compulsive behavioral issues with the same treatments which have long been used for substance abuse. And rightly so, as this certainly is an issue of addiction. Sex and sexual fantasy trigger the same neurotransmitters in the brain as recreational drugs. Compulsive sexual behavior is therefore a mental health issue, not moral failure.

If I were attracted to men I would be totallty ok saying it. I even tried having sex with two just to see. I hated both experiences. My opinion is that transexuals are not males visually though perhaps they are biologically.
