The thing that makes it seem fake is the mixture of tungsten and outdoor light sources. Other than that she/it truly looks real. The shadow on the thigh seems right, the body parts don't seem plastic like some people have said, the eyes look alright as well. The hair might have been altered as is usual on the set of a photo shoot.

What doesn't make sense to me is that someone would take the time to make something fake look real, although it is possible it would take a good amount of effort to first make the doll and then alter the image. What would be the motive for something like that anyway?

Besides chanel_girly thinks its real, if you could fool her then you could probably fool just about anybody. Personally, I would put money on it that its real.
