How's the film going? Well, slowly. I've discovered that doing a vanity project on my own time means that I'll allow myself forever to do it! Mainly my studio hasn't been quite ready to shoot in yet, and I'm waiting for the weather to warm up a bit too. It is a costume, but it's set up on a jig so that it's freestanding. This robot was the prototype, so some things like the claws don't work yet. The legs aren't wearable at the moment, but everything from the robot's waist up is designed for an operator to be inside. The "six pack" of the bot is of one-way mirror plexi, so you can see out of it.

I already have all the materials to make 3 more of them. The plan is that by the time I get to the 4th robot, I'll have all the bugs worked out of them, and the last one will end up being the "hero prop" (the prop you use for all the close up shots). Keen eyes will notice the chest and waist area is made from plastic Rubbermaid storage bins.

Then also, the first robot will end up being the one that gets blown up, because there's a scene where I take on all 4 robots at once and discover how to tire them out and drain them of all their "lubricant"

(Pictures- Conceptual sketch from a few years back - and actual prototype robot costume.) Oh yeah, it's called a "testostrobot"

I have done totally nude shoots. They're sprinkled throughout my site, but let me see if I have some samples. Most were done back when I had shorter hair, so if I were going to do it today, the hair and makeup would have to be tip top, and maybe I'd settle on a necklace and earrings.. is that too clothed for you?

My 4 current DVDs (Delucious 1-4) are not available for purchase via download yet. Probably by the time my sci fi film comes out, there will be something in place so people can do that. I'm uncertain if my website's billing company can set up something to do that (one person in the company said it was possible, another said it wasn't)

With this new film I want to submit it to the AVN awards, but it seems like you have to hit certain sales benchmarks for them to consider it, which means going the old fashioned "get your DVDs in the stores" route. I don't know if mail-order and downloaded purchses count towards sales as far as they're concerned.

Ah.. The Liberty.. as bad as that place was, it was one of the easiest jobs I ever had. If things were slow, I'd pull out my laptop and work on my site. If things were hopping, I'd be making a lot of money. Thats the opposite of some of the regular jobs I had, where if things were slow, they'd give you something to do so you'd look busy, and if you were busy, it wasn't like you were making any more money than if things were slow....

Anyway, I paid off all my student loans and got myself out of a financial hole just from one year of working there. If there was a place like that around today, I'd consider working there again

Thinking of the Liberty, when I did this cheerleader shoot years ago, it was actually shot in the dressing room at the Liberty one night after work. The room had a huge wall of lockers and looked like, well, a locker room.

The striped corset I actually made nearly 10 years ago, but never quite shot photos of it (in this form) because it was similar to another outfit I had made that was much more elaborate. I recently tweaked the corset (shortened it, added trim and 8 garters) and shot in my recently painted living room.
