View Full Version : Dems take NEGLIGIBLE lead in National Elections! LMAO
LMAO. That's it?
Even if Dhimmi's win the remaining 3 senate races as of 10:10p pacific, they'd have no more than a 1 seat lead in the senate!?!
And in the house, not a real lead at all in terms of percentage control.
Congrat's dhimmi's, despite your best doom and glooming, a small majority isn't going to get you the votes you need in your attempts to shame this country.
Through it all, Republicans stood tall, took the hits and.... you mean... ?
This is the dem's best shot?
Doom and gloom dems fail again!!!

After tonight's political disaster I consoled myself by listening to Henryk Gorecki's "I. Lento - Sostenuto Tranquillo Ma Cantabile" of Symphony No. 3.
All is lost...welcome to the dark ages...the end of the world as we know it.

Many of the democrats that won are moderate to conservative. They still won though. Kudos to the democrats.

Rangel will be chairmnan of Ways and means. He stated ,"couldn't think of one of our tax cuts he would extend ."
So you`re in favor of higher taxes?
Pelosi stated she will have Alcee Hastings chairman of the House Intelligence Committee . Do you agree that, a former judge who was impeached by the House and convicted by the Senate in 1989 for accepting $150,000 in exchange for handing down a lenient sentence, and for lying at his trial, be trusted ?
And of course John Conyers, who held dress rehearsal impeachment trials in the bowels of the congressional building.
The democrats want to redeploy troops out of Iraq. By redeploy we all know that means Quit just as in the 70`s when the democrat Congress defunded South Vietnam and left the battlefield to the Communists.
Will they now walk the walk and do the same. In order to "redeploy" the House has no choice but to defund support of the troops.
Will your boys walk the walk now,or betray their base?

LMAO. Thanks for your expert analysis but this is not a photo shoot. We're talking about an election.
I don't know what the jubilation around here is for. Dems didn't pick up the votes they'll need to push their tax and spend agendas nor the votes they'll need to push their anti-American psychological warfare.
Let's be serious.
Fem's have a reported 233-202 lead in the house and at best a 1 seat lead in the senate.
Considering that Republicans have controlled both the Senate and the House for the last 12 years AND the law of Averages, I'm calling this a failure of the Dhimmicrat platform of ideas.

We're already working on recall campaigns. Republicans don't doom and gloom, we recall.
I`m still searching news sites looking for Republican complaints about Diebold and other conspiracy theories that the dems rigged the elections.
The base remained at home. The RINO`s were sent a message, that includes the President and his social programs. The RINOS and their earmarks just got an earfull.
The base must purge all RINO`s and return the Republican party to it`s Conservative roots.
This midterm was certainly not as large a victory for the dems as it is a rebuke for the RINO`s:
In Franklin D. Roosevelt's sixth year in 1938, Democrats lost 71 seats in the House and six in the Senate.
In Dwight Eisenhower's sixth year in 1958, Republicans lost 47 House seats, 13 in the Senate.
In John F. Kennedy/Lyndon Johnson's sixth year, Democrats lost 47 seats in the House and three in the Senate.
In Richard Nixon/Gerald Ford's sixth year in office in 1974, Republicans lost 43 House seats and three Senate seats.
Ronald Reagan, lost five House seats and eight Senate seats in his sixth year in office
Bill Clinton,Republicans picked up a total of 49 House seats and nine Senate seats in two midterm elections. Also, when Clinton won the presidency in 1992, his party actually lost 10 seats in the House -- only the second time in the 20th century that a party won the White House but lost seats in the House.
Good luck with only 51 in the Senate, since it only takes 41 to fillibuster. But now the dems must put or shut up. They`ll be held responsible for raising taxes, defunding the troops through the budget process to force a retreat from the middle east. And of course have Conyers launch impeachment hearings.
Failing to do this will alienate their base in `08.

Glad to see the Republicrooks go. When they signed on with their "Contract with America" to reform Washington, Washington reformed them. I guess the Americans that signed on to their Contract to rid corruption, smaller government, fiscal responsibility, etc. must have not read the fine print. As a libertarian, the Republican party left our group to listen to the social conservatives. They mislead our group as most Americans to elect them into office only to find out that they are nothing but Election Whores. They will do anything to get elected and when they get elected they do nothing.
It was fun listening to neocon radio to listen to them whine. They were whining about losing votes to Libertarian candidates. It was funny considering the Republican party bankrolled a third party to divide Casey's voters. It was not much of a factor.
It is funny how the Repugicans can have an emergency session for Terri Schiavo, but North Korea test a nuclear bomb they worry more about campaigning on National Security of all things. The party of hypocrites, no doubt! Blame the media, blame Clinton, blame activist judges, etc. Their blame game does not work when their actions or inactions are the cause for the big mess we are in now. The voters acknowledge this.
Sorry to hear that the neo-nazi movement for imperalizing American did not work. Long live democracy!
United We Stand, Divide We Fall (Karl Rove will no longer divide Americans).
Sorry to hear that the neo-nazi movement for imperalizing American did not work. Long live democracy!
You a comedian? I'm asking seriously.
America by it's own foundation was founded in Imperialism. Unless you're mestizo or American Indian, you should really shut the fuck up.
This is all nothing but feel-good politics for the left. Sure we'll have some fem spamming on this board in the name of propagandizing. We'll have some fems celebrating the "overthrow of the Bush", but when Americans go back to work, they by and LARGE ain't going for higher TAXES, government REGULATION and limp-dicked withdrawals.
When another Clinton rears his head, America will see through the bullshit and then you can count on another 12 years of a Republican controlled congress.
For all your doom and glooming, Dems achieved not a vote for their party or ideals, but an anti-vote for Republicans. LMAO
This is not a dhimmicrat success. When the costumes come off and the old liberal socialists agendas come out of the closet, you'll see who America votes for time and time again.

TFan, what's your take on the deficit under Bush and Clinton? I honestly don't know whether Clinton had that much to do with it, but I've been reading here, and that husband/wife analogy on that thread in general discussion was interesting to me. I feel two ways about higher taxes: 1, if it's necessary to avoid much more serious trouble down the road, then I'll do it. 2, considering the basic structure of wealth distribution, I don't understand why we simply don't have the very rich and corporations paying more. I'd bet just closing some corporate loopholes, ending some ridiculous subsidies such as those that big mining, ranching and farming get, would be significant. I also thought Seanchai's argument about the costs of subsidizing health care for the poor carried a lot of water. Can we agree that it's just stupid of us to end up paying for emergency health care instead of the much cheaper preventative maintenance? Anyone who owns a pet knows this.
And I just don't see how even a Republican can support GWB. He's obviously not a bright man. He can barely speak intelligently. I'd feel better about David Letterman for president, based purely on his demonstrated capacity for articulating an intelligent idea. Isn't it clear that GWB got where he did through nepotism? I hear a lot of liberal leaning people say they aren't too crazy about Democrats either, but honestly, every conservative just seems to be pro-Bush, and I just don't get it. Republicans have done so much better in the past, wouldn't you agree?
Myself, I voted for Nader/Laduke two elections ago. I read Nader's life story and was impressed. Unfortunately, it's possible this thinking hurt the country. But I think that the system's a big mess. Why can't we figure out a healthcare plan, try it out in a state or region, hell, let every plan be tried in different areas, look at the results, and then choose the best one? Why does nothing get done year after year? Do you guys know that schools are more segregated now more than ever? And that most of these all-black schools are failing the kids? It's a crying shame to condemn lower income kids to crappy schools. Rich parents nowadays are enrolling their kids in pre-kindergarten schools. So by the time a kid is 5 or 6, there's already that pressure. Welcome to life kid, you're a failure, you can't keep up. An innocent little kid!! That pisses me off, and it should you guys too, whatever your affiliation. We waste time, energy, money, and lives. It's fucking absurd. I think we should be directing our venom at THAT.

I'm not an economist so I'll tell you what I think. I think growing the economy is as important as balancing the budget. Here's my analogy. When I was 22 years old I was living on my own. I have 800 in rent and about 1400 in net income. I had enough to afford just my rent, bills and food and some basic entertainment. I had a BALANCED budget. Though my credit was good there was no way I could afford to buy anything. As time went by I started to earn a little more here and a little more there. The first thing I needed to buy was a more reliable car.
I could not buy the car and still balance the budget. I just didn't have that kind of savings. So I bought on credit and financed it. That was the last time I balanced my budget. I spent more than I earned but still borrowed on a sustainable payment plan. Imagine that example except it's the US government and instead of a Honda Civic, it's millions of bullets, surveillence equipment, tanks, food stamps, toilet paper, roads and highways etc. I voted twice for Bill Clinton in my naive youth. He balanced the budget but he also cut some very important military spending and as a result, we were left with a shoddily equipped military.
One of America's strengths is it's military. We are having a harder and harder time expanding American military influence because of these military cuts. This is not GROWING THE PIE. Instead, it is "Lets drive older cars and give up the cable TV so we can balance the budget". It's just not the American way. The military, American Universities, our highway system... these things were accomplished on good old fashion American BONDS.... borrowing! The things we all take for granted, the American way, are possible because of American geopolitical dominance. If we budget ourselves to live neatly within our borders, we will soon find ourselves encroached upon by other nations seeking the same luxuries.
And I just don't see how even a Republican can support GWB. He's obviously not a bright man. He can barely speak intelligently. I'd feel better about David Letterman for president, based purely on his demonstrated capacity for articulating an intelligent idea.
I don't care about percieved intelligence. W is smart enough to be president. Bill Buckley once said "I would rather be governed by the first 2000 names in the Boston phone book than by the 2000 members of the faculty of Harvard University". I believe that guys like John Kerry are academically intelligent, but I don't think he's a good person because he's a liar.
Not having security clearances means that us regular people will never have access to all the information. Even the shit we read on some obscure, reliable website will never give us all the information. At some point we have to rely on the man who is trustworthy and then give him the power to make decisions and kick some ass when necessary.
Thats how I pick my presidents.
Isn't it clear that GWB got where he did through nepotism?
Being mexican and in business, I've had to fight nepotism the hardway. Not just family nepotism but the good ole boy shit, too. It's not easy but that's life. I don't spend my days bitching and moaning about how I got an unfair deal in life, nor resenting the more priviliged, ahem, anglos, that have it easy. Thats loser shit.
I hear a lot of liberal leaning people say they aren't too crazy about Democrats either, but honestly, every conservative just seems to be pro-Bush, and I just don't get it. Republicans have done so much better in the past, wouldn't you agree?
If you're talking about Ronald Reagan, leaders like that are few and far between... maybe, MAYBE once in a generation. Though W has tried to compare himself and meet up with the values and performance of The Great Communicator, he has fallen far short. But he's still done a great job with what he was handed.
I'm not sure that's important, but ok.
And that most of these all-black schools are failing the kids? It's a crying shame to condemn lower income kids to crappy schools.
You can look squarely at the parents for that one. They have the power to pick the school board members.
Rich parents nowadays are enrolling their kids in pre-kindergarten schools. So by the time a kid is 5 or 6, there's already that pressure. Welcome to life kid, you're a failure, you can't keep up. Yeah well the problem is the school system. It's broken. Yet dems will play the class warfare and get poor people to vote against school vouchers.

Thanks for responding. I get pissed off once in a while but I do respect people's opinions if they can argue their points. I can see you've done some thinking about this.
You feel like explaining school vouchers to me? Is it money for performance?
Hopefully not, because surely the richer schools will perform better.
You know, my parents are staunch republicans. They think that liberals feel like every poor person should get a lot for nothing. I don't know if I'm a liberal or not, I don't really like labels and honestly I don't follow it that much, I just pipe in from time to time to try to learn something. But I feel like just because some people start from nothing and make something of themselves doesn't mean we should abandon people who weren't lucky enough to have a friend or teacher or relative to encourage them when it counted. I may be full of shit, but I feel like a lot of people get beaten down by life pretty early for some reason or another, and it's my instinct that it's wrong to just give them the finger, you know? I liked hearing about that guy who recently won a Nobel prize for starting a small-business-loan bank in third world countries many years ago.
It's interesting to me that you say you're Mexican. In the restaurant business, I've worked alongside many guys who were sending money back home. They've always been cool, funny guys to be around, and usually some of the hardest workers, though I realize that it's wrong to generalize. Anyway, my point is, I've known many Mexicans, working class ones like me anyway, and so I like them....but my white older parents never have and so what with their old-school thinking, would probably be freaked out to have to talk to anyone who didn't look just like them...so from my perspective, I've tended to think of Republicans as uptight white older people and young conservative christian types. Anyway...what's your take on, say, migrant workers? I read about the shitty conditions and low pay, and I'm ashamed of America. But I guess it's really the history of the haves and have nots, no?
Thanks for responding. I get pissed off once in a while but I do respect people's opinions if they can argue their points. I can see you've done some thinking about this.

I come from a dirt poor family but I was always taught that no amount of money can make anyone a better person. I'm not talking about kissing asses and the like. I'm talking about true, unadulterated desire to make a better life for yourself. If I'd had grown up listening to the veteranos I grew up with, I'd be like them. Those guys are still working in machine shops and drinking beer on the weekends.
Thats the difference between people that make it in the world and those that don't. They believe they can and will make it no matter what. I really don't care that some dude has more money than me. I don't care that he had to work half as hard to have twice as much. It doesn't fucking matter to me because I will get there. That's why the pussy-whining class warfare bullshit that libs try to preach doesn't work with me. My confidence is impenetrable. No amount of "blame whitey and corporations" pussy-whining works on me.
You know, my parents are staunch republicans. They think that liberals feel like every poor person should get a lot for nothing. I don't know if I'm a liberal or not, I don't really like labels and honestly I don't follow it that much, I just pipe in from time to time to try to learn something. That's why I've said time and time again that it is democrats that do more damage to the poor than anyone else. It's democrats that say
"The common man can't succeed in capitalism, WATCH THIS!"
As they proceed to tax, regulate and legislate small and medium size business out of business. "Serves em right for trying to make money!"
Some people do get a bad start in life, usually from their own parents. Liberals don't do them any favors though. You can't strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
It's interesting to me that you say you're Mexican. In the restaurant business, I've worked alongside many guys who were sending money back home. It's unfortunate but it appears the truth is that in the past the republican party has attracted that mentality. But on the other side of the aisle is the mentality of "Vote for higher taxes or you ain't a real mexican".
Yep, vote the democrat agenda or your an Aunt Jemima/Coconut/Uncle Tom etc. Shit, at least if other republicans hate me I know it. I refuse to be subjugated by people who claim to be Raza, yet are only Raza if I think and vote exactly like them. I'd rather be openly despised than secretly loathed. In that aspect, there is no such thing as "race".
To quote from my favorite movie and the Martyr David Jason-
No, Mr. Guzman. I think there are no Hispanics anymore. No Japanese, no blacks, no whites, no nothing. It's just rich people and poor people. The three of us are all rich, so we're on the same side.
Anyway...what's your take on, say, migrant workers? I read about the shitty conditions and low pay, and I'm ashamed of America. But I guess it's really the history of the haves and have nots, no?
