View Full Version : Stats Question

How accurate are the stats on forum sections being viewed? Earlier today it claimed over 400 visitors were viewing the Sports section (just checked and right now, 15.04 GMT it is 426) , and in the last week there have been between 200-300+ viewing the Politics and Religion section. I am not saying these figures are not accurate, but they seem out of kilter with what has been the 'normal' traffic. And of course most are not registered members. Has Hung Angels attracted people who have no real interest in trans people? Where have they come from?

Some of those may be bots but no one uses the stats as far as I know unless the Government is using them as the basis for setting policy?

Utter bollocks - I've no idea how they work.

This came up before when the forum was very slow and it was showing 30,000+ visitors. Don't think we ever got an answer.

I'm pretty confident there are not 200-300 people coming to read your daily political screeds.

Considering the record for "Most users ever online" ( 38,998 ) was on 06-03-2024, I'd say these stats are about as accurate as the stats on an escort's profile. I first signed up here in early 2007 and it was much more active then. Reddit is sucking the life out of forums across the world.

Ever since the “Discussion Forum” was renamed “TheHungAngels Forum” the total post count reflected in the individual profile are significantly lower than the sum of the thread counts. Each thread shows the number of posts made to the thread. This can be seen by placing the cursor over the green circle on the bottom right corner or the light red envelope image on the left side of the thread title. I am aware that deleted threads automatically eliminated the posts and changed the total post count. It appears that the profile post count is significantly lower than the sum of the individual thread post. Is this by design or is it due to an application modification?

You seem to be going to a lot of trouble over something that doesn't matter. There's no prize for getting to the next poster level.

Good ol' Mr. Sunshine, insulting people without answering their questions, as usual. There's no prize for being an asshole all the time, either.

It's good that you don't resort to personal insults.

Actually Stavros I look forward to your political screeds.
