And from Mr Fanti, no explanation for the return of the 'Man on Horseback' in African politics. Just the swap: Russia for France, just as in other parts of Africa they have swapped the British for the Chinese.

Who benefits from this new mode of Imperialism? All that wealth from the minerals, did it ever trickle down to the average African?

Is that why so many want to live in the EU? So desperate they will fork out thousands of borrowed dollars to risk their lives on a rubber boat on the Med?
