Nothing to say on the African abuse of African resources? At what point in the last 40 years did Nigeria and Angola liberate themselves from external investors?

Try to calculate the net profit from oil and gas in Nigeria and Angola since the 1970s, then ask the simple question -where did the money go? You could then ask if Nigeria and Angola are corrupt countries, but that's like asking if they are in Africa. How and why successive regimes in Africa have failed their people is not something that makes for comfortable reading, whether it is the Biafra secession and its grim toll in the 1960s, or the rape of Zaire by Joseph Mobutu backed by Muhammad Ali and the US, and Belgian Governments.

So today after years of neglect of everything but the profts -and what proportion were immediately parked in offshore accounts by Govt officials as the money rolled in?- oil production in Nigeria and Angola are a pale shadow of what they once were and could be.
