Begs the question: is the person's unhappiness generated by their 'dysmorphia' or by something else? Does it explain why some people after SRS regret making the decision, but does it also mean they re-assess what the cause of their unhappiness was? It may not be the case that the unhappiness is caused by something as internal as the body, but by an absence of love or feelings of being loved by the person that drives them to seek a cause, and its solution.
