I shall be back in Germany this time next week, and have been given a tip by my friends there.

1) 9-Euro Ticket
It is a bargain, and it is called the 9-Euro Ticket. For 9 Euros you can buy one pass that gives you unlimited travel on the Bundesbahn and local subway, tram and bus networks. It does NOT allow the use of high speed inter-city trains, but if you are based in, say Berlin, you should be able to get to Leipzig and Dresden without spending too much time, and I guess if you have time you could train across the country. August is the last month for which this scheme is available. You can purchase it before you arrive, download the DB app, etc. There are details here-

2) Places
I don't need to recommend Google, but a search for non-escort related places suggests that at the moment, Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne are the top rated destinations for bars, clubs and other activities (I am in the Frankfurt area before heading off to the Munich Opera Festival, but they are hardly the two most boring places to visit! And no, Angela Rayner isn't coming with me).
Here are two websites, one for Germany, the other for Europe. Bear in mind these are oriented toward the younger age group and that clubs are probably either Gay or Fusion type places.
